The HRSA nursing scholarship is available now. I just submitted my application although I'm probably a long shot.
How to Apply for a Scholarship
If you're interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, you may be eligible for a scholarship through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The HRSA Scholarship Program is designed to support students in various healthcare disciplines who are committed to serving underserved communities and helping to address the shortage of healthcare professionals in those areas.
HRSA offer scholarships to help pay for health professions' education.
All Scholarship awardees will provide a one-year service commitment for each year of scholarship support received.
The application cycle typically opens in late Winter or early Spring and closes in late Spring or early Summer, so be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
Scholarship requirements:
To be eligible for the HRSA Scholarship, you must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited program that leads to a degree in one of the following disciplines:
Nursing (including RN, ADN, BSN, and graduate-level nursing programs)
Nurse Practitioner
Certified Nurse-Midwife
You must also be a U.S. citizen, a national, or permanent resident.
Have no federal judgment liens and service commitment.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for scholarship through the HRSA's online application system.
Scholarship award covers:
Tuition and Eligible Fees
A monthly stipend for living expenses
An annual other reasonable costs payment

Did you get the first email? I agree with Twois, I think it sounds like they are trying to get in touch with people who they either never received faxes from or the people never received the first email.
That was very kind of her, and if we are being fair, with all the craziness up there... they should probably do the same for everyone.
Maybe that just means that your analyst knows she/he got all the info from their ppl?!? I don't know email to me sounds like they are trying to get the info from those who NEVER received the email or from ppl whose stuff didn't get "faxed" in the sense that the specific analyst didn't receive it. I still haven't received anything from mine.
I emailed my school contact today, she hasn't heard anything from them... not only that but she doesn't even know anything about the HRSA scholarship at all. I get the feeling that even if they did offer me this scholarship, there would be lots of issues to work through.
I go through a cycle... let it go... get anxious... get some sort of news that reminds me not to get in a hurry to be excited. I've completely let it go a couple of times. I just can't seem to quit coming back to it! :)
Ok, so I call my analyst (JJ III) AND FINALLY HE PICKED UP THE PHONE......WOW! I couldn't believe it since he never responded to my emails or calls when I faxed the documents to him. Anyway, I said my name and to my surprise he knew who I was, he spoke to me like if he knows me already. He said that I was "fine", that he received all my documents. Of course when I was about to day "thank you and have a good day", freaking AT&T drops my call......ahhhh!! How embarrassing!! I had to call back and apologize.
LOL. Well you may want to contact JV then. I know my school has already been faxed the info and the info has been faxed back. I contacted him and he said he had received the documentation from my school. I also received an email from my school contact who told me HRSA was faxing them information to them.

Yeah she told me that when I spoke with her. I'd call her to make sure, but the time I talked to her on the phone she didn't seem very nice?!?

Ya, that's kinda what I was thinking. I haven't spoken to her, just an email... but it definitely let me know that she was busy and didn't really have time to be answering my questions, lol.

Yeah that's for sure. I mean I am a real nice person, and I had someone else fax my info in because I couldn't get it to fax from my house. Well they got double of something and so I was like telling her and she was just like what is your name okay thanks bye...I was like um ok...I mean she did email me back, but doesn't seem as nice as the lady who sent out the emails making sure she received the info from everyone....lol
