The HRSA nursing scholarship is available now. I just submitted my application although I'm probably a long shot.
If you're interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, you may be eligible for a scholarship through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The HRSA Scholarship Program is designed to support students in various healthcare disciplines who are committed to serving underserved communities and helping to address the shortage of healthcare professionals in those areas.
HRSA offer scholarships to help pay for health professions' education.
All Scholarship awardees will provide a one-year service commitment for each year of scholarship support received.
The application cycle typically opens in late Winter or early Spring and closes in late Spring or early Summer, so be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
To be eligible for the HRSA Scholarship, you must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited program that leads to a degree in one of the following disciplines:
You must also be a U.S. citizen, a national, or permanent resident.
Have no federal judgment liens and service commitment.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for scholarship through the HRSA's online application system.
If you have any questions about the program or the application process, the HRSA offers resources and support to help guide you through the process. Don't miss out on the opportunity to receive financial assistance while pursuing your dream of a career in healthcare and serving those in need.

i am holding hope for Monday, but I doubt it. It will be an email that reads, sorry, but we will notify you september 30:eek:
If thats what the email says on Monday I will go even more crazy (lol).....I think we would all just at the point go crazy simply because everytime they say they will have info to us by this date, by that date comes another email that says it will be weeks later.
https://nis.hrsa.gov/Login.aspx?LGO=true&prog=NSPLooks like we can still update the address
Thank you!!!!! :)
Ok, so I just joined this convo as i got the email that Stephanie sent (Thanks by the way:)). So is the guess that if our credit was pulled we are a finalist and not an alternate? I checked and mine was pulled on the 5th of August by the CBCHRSA thing... I've been reading all the pages, wish I would've looked this up earlier, it's TERRIFIC.
Anyway, wishing everyone luck, and hopefully we all get an email, not snailmail, on monday!!

May I ask, how did you know from the original emails who else had your analyst? On my initial email, when I click the "to" there are no names. Same on the ones from Vinoo. On the one from Arthur Williams it did have a list, but with 180 names on it. I hope my analyst doesn't have 180 people, or I think a bunch of us really are screwed.
By the way, I have CL, all the emails, no credit check, and I'm stressing. So badly that I actually counted all the names on the list a couple of days ago. But that was certainly no help, because I saw mllnj on there, who I know had a credit pull and she was near the bottom of the list, and I was pretty much in the center. 107/ 180 I think.
Anyway, just curious if that's the email everyone else pulled the other emails from or if there's something weird that I can't see other names on the other ones.

I used the original email from Arthur Williams to contact those who had my analyst. We had like 80 names on our list. I believe thats how the email was sent out, in groups based on who your analyst was, but I may be wrong.

What do you mean that you have "all the emails"...I have only received the first one from CL requesting the documents...

There was the email from the analysts asking for documents, then a couple of days later there was an email asking us not to call to check on the status of our documents and that the new date for being notified is Aug 23. Then a day or two after that there was an email that was meant for school representatives asking them to fill out a document.

Oh I see...I only received the initial email requesting the documents...I never got one asking not to call and check the status or the one meant for school reps...
Hope that's not a bad sign...
I also have CF and mine was pulled Aug 5th!! I'm really really hoping that's a good sign!
Did anyone else see in last years posts (about the 2009-2010 scholarship) that there was a LOOONG wait for some people to get their letters? Like into October? I really hope they just send out an email or something at least for preliminary purposes, so we're not waiting anxiously for months.
