  1. I understand how you feel because I too had to take NCLEX twice. I studied content and did questions. In the morning I would study content using Hurst and the evenings I would study test strategies and answer questions using Kaplan. Fortunately I had done Hurst review before I failed and was put on their 45 day remediation plan for free and I was able to have access to Kaplan for free because a friend had passed NCLEX and let me use hers because it didn't expire until Sept
  2. I had to test twice before I passed and on the second time to me it didn't seem as hard, but def not easy but that might be do to me studying more. I can ensure that they won't ask you the same questions and to me not really on the same subjects. Like my first test I had ALOT of infection control especially involving c-diff, the second time I did not. The second time I had a lot of questions evaluating the effectiveness of teaching, whereas the first time I didn't. Basically NCLEX is going to use random subjects to determine if you have minimal competency each time, I don't believe they make it harder if you test more than once .
  3. I too failed the first time so I understand the feeling! First thing first realize that it is not the end of the world. I took a week off to get my head together and try to relax. And then for the next 5 wks, everyday except for one I did Hurst remediation review and Kaplan. Hurst helped with understanding content Kaplan helped with test strategies and NCLEX style questions. It does get tiring and frustrating but Everytime I would feel like giving up I prayed. I prayed every night, many times throughout the Day for knowledge, confidence, courage and anything else I needed to conquer NCLEX. Throughout the entire thing the only thing I had to hold on to was my faith ! When I retook last week I hid the question number so if I went over 75 I wouldn't get anxiety, I took breaks whenever I needed it and just prayed. Happy to say I passed the second time so it can be done. Just keep pushing! Dont give up!
