The HRSA nursing scholarship is available now. I just submitted my application although I'm probably a long shot.
If you're interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, you may be eligible for a scholarship through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The HRSA Scholarship Program is designed to support students in various healthcare disciplines who are committed to serving underserved communities and helping to address the shortage of healthcare professionals in those areas.
HRSA offer scholarships to help pay for health professions' education.
All Scholarship awardees will provide a one-year service commitment for each year of scholarship support received.
The application cycle typically opens in late Winter or early Spring and closes in late Spring or early Summer, so be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
To be eligible for the HRSA Scholarship, you must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited program that leads to a degree in one of the following disciplines:
You must also be a U.S. citizen, a national, or permanent resident.
Have no federal judgment liens and service commitment.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for scholarship through the HRSA's online application system.
If you have any questions about the program or the application process, the HRSA offers resources and support to help guide you through the process. Don't miss out on the opportunity to receive financial assistance while pursuing your dream of a career in healthcare and serving those in need.

AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!i can't wait anymore..I missed an unknown call today and I am afraid it was them. Can't call them back cuz they are all nimrods.
I had that happen too...whoever it was started to leave a voicemail about a recent scholarship but then message got cut off. I've applied for other scholarships too so I really don't know what it was, and when I emailed my analyst her response was notification will go out August 23rd....I really wish if they were going to contact us/try to contact us at least they would leave full messages, especially if its something important that could make or break the chance of getting the scholarship...
Its all so nervewracking!
Did anyone else get that e-mail from that guy that was meant to be sent to your school? It had an attachment form that had to be filled out by July 28th. I'm freaking out because I really doubt my school did it on time and am afraid I'll get pulled from the scholarship as a result. I e-mailed Connie Fu about it and she never responded to my e-mail.

hi slim lady,
the dcw form is not related to an applicant being awarded a scholarship. we are still accepting dcw's.

I received the email from a Vinoo that was a spreadsheet towards the end of July. Just because I knew that my school wouldn't be on top of it, I personally contacted someone in financial aid and forwarded the spreadsheet to their email to deal with directly. She took care of everything, contacted Vinoo with questions, then contacted me when she was done. That would have been my advice to you...however, because she needed to get some information from the school, she told Mr. Vinoo that the spreadsheet would be late. He said that that would be ok, that they were going to take them at least through the 30th of July and maybe longer if they weren't getting enough! I wouldn't worry if i were you, I'm sure a lot of schools were slothful with these forms around this time of year!! You will be fine! Good Grace :-)

In addition to what Slim said, if they don't get the form back, they will figure things out. I got a call on Saturday from VJ trying to verify my tuition. When I told him what it was, he said that's what he got from my school's website. Don't sweat it. He also said to me on the phone when I called him right after those mistake emails went out that this will not disqualify someone from receiving the scholarship if the school's do not send back the forms.
Britt7, my tutition is 84k a semester and its a private school. so i am hoping and praying everyday that i get this scholarship. finacial aid doesnt cover much. this waitis driving me crazy.
OMG. Are you serious? $84,000 per Semester!?!?!? That's worse than med school. How many semesters is your program?

According to a recepient from last year, the stipend is year round. Which makes sense since the NSP begins July 1st and goes until June 30th. Plus, if you think about it, if we accept their terms to work full-time for two years it only makes sense that we are paid the stipend year round. But who really knows at this point?
