The HRSA nursing scholarship is available now. I just submitted my application although I'm probably a long shot.
How to Apply for a Scholarship

HRSA offer scholarships to help pay for health professions' education.
All Scholarship awardees will provide a one-year service commitment for each year of scholarship support received.
The application cycle typically opens in late Winter or early Spring and closes in late Spring or early Summer, so be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
Scholarship requirements:
To be eligible for the HRSA Scholarship, you must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited program that leads to a degree in one of the following disciplines:
Nursing (including RN, ADN, BSN, and graduate-level nursing programs)
Nurse Practitioner
Certified Nurse-Midwife
You must also be a U.S. citizen, a national, or permanent resident.
Have no federal judgment liens and service commitment.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for scholarship through the HRSA's online application system.
Scholarship award covers:
Tuition and Eligible Fees
A monthly stipend for living expenses
An annual other reasonable costs payment

i did, same day as my hrsa credit check, on equifax. Who is your analyst? Was it the same day as your other check?
KH is my analyst and yeah same day (today) as my HRSA credit check. From what I can find online looks like they are a credit reporting agency not just for mortgages so I am guessing HRSA uses them??? Can't find a current phone number-that's not reassuring:eek:

That is what I found out as well with the little research I did.
So thanks to the tip from MRevis, I checked my report for free. I checked Equifax and my credit was pulled by CBR Mortgage Services on 8/10/10. Nothing specifically saying HRSA. I live in FL, my analyst is CL and my last name begins with K.
Are you sure it didn't say CBR Mortgage Service instead of HRSA?
Yeap. I have looked at the report over and over again. It is very interesting because not even Wells Fargo appears as inquiries and i got approved for two loans trough them over two months ago. Just weird!
I am pretty sure that my file has not gone to the right person. According to the nice lady on the phone my analyst is CL BUT jJ3rd supposedly has the file but he doesn't even tell me anything. It is either that or I am definitely an alternate and they do not want to tell me.
I just found this in an article about CBR Mtg Svcs:
"CBR is currently providing a wide array of credit information products to more than 12,000 customers, i.e., credit bureaus, credit grantors and to government agencies such as SBA, IRS and HUD. CBR Information Group Inc. is an ESOP company and has 172 employees serving clients in all 50 states. "
So, it already seems that because of the fact that people on here applied for the scholarship AND have been having their credit pulled by this company, it is not a mere coincidence. This info above seems to add to that because government agencies use this company. I would say if the credit reports state HRSA or CBR, it is a credit pull for the scholarship.

Hey did any of you have CBR Mortgage Services show up as an inquiry on your credit report? Uh definitely not applying for a mortgage???
