The College of New Rochelle Accelerated Nursing Program 2015

Hello All,

I just got accepted to The College of New Rochelle's Accelerated Nursing Progam starting in June 2015. I AM OVERJOYED, I have some things to smooth out before the start of the program (taking 2 CLEP exams) but I am so excited. I completed my first bachelors in Sept 2014 , so I am excited to get back into school. Has anyone attended the College of New Rochelle? Any tips/advice/comments? Let me know!

I just found out I was accepted to CNR ABSN I'm so excited. Looking forward to being in the same cohort with you all.

I'm considering living on campus rather than commuting everyday between New Rochelle and Nassau county , I am still holding out to see if our cohort will be receiving any monetary endowment that will lower our tuition before I make my final decision.

Have you received anything other than your acceptance letter from CNR yet? My acceptance letter was just a 1 page letter congratulating me on being accepted. I'm assuming they'll be sending a packet of information separately with health forms, housing info, financial aid, certification requirements etc, but it has been 4 weeks and I still haven't received anything yet.

I am also waiting to make my final decision to see if I get accepted into stony brooks accelerated program or SUNY downstates accelerated program. They are much more affordable.

Yea the def are priced better , I'm waiting on SBU as well, but they are dragging out this process lol.

I did not receive any other paperwork, maybe on Monday you could call Ms. Bimbo to follow up , I plan to reach out to her soon if I do not hear from any of my other options

@ranftlea i went online to pay and the site state that its full i'm confuse . I don't want to roll anything over to the fall semester . i dont understand why they would send me an acceptance letter when they know the program is already full . were you able to pay your deposit for accelerated?

I paid my deposit a few weeks ago. Maybe give them a call tomorrow morning?
