The candidate currently has test results on hold...

Nursing Students NCLEX

Alright everyone. Has anyone ever got this message before? I just took my NCLEX RN about an hour ago. "The candidate currently has test results on hold..." was the message that popped up. I know it isn't the good pop up, but there is little hope. It didn't go to the CC screen at all. As far as my test goes, these are the questions I got...

Several S.A.T.P, I also got a good handful of exhibit questions, got one drag and drop where I had to do the procedure for helping the doctor insert a central venous catheter, I got a hot spot question, then as for my multiple choice I got the norm. Psych questions, therapeutic response questions and so fourth.

I am not sure how I feel about my test. I know I walked out upset and wanted to cry because I feel like I failed. It just seemed like it went to fast. It shut off at 75 questions. This could be good or bad.

Can anyone relate to me? Has anyone passed with this pop up and these types of questions before?? I am an absolute wreck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure about whether the test day counts (although based on what I've seen from classmates, it does), but I do have a friend who took her exam a couple of Saturdays ago and couldn't access her quick results until Tuesday.. That was without her results being placed on hold

I just took mine, 75 questions, 45 minutes. And my results are on hold. Does anyone know the average of how long people are on hold?

I know. I am right there with you. Its beyond hard waiting!!! Keep in touch though. I am praying we did good!! :) Staying positive!

I took my NCLEX on 1/22. I did 75 questions in 45 minutes. My results were on hold when I tried the pop-up. According to the NCSBN website, "Exam results that exhibit unusual statistic patterns will be placed on hold for further investigation. Exam log, item response time, answering patterns and video recording at the test center are carefully reviewed for the score hold cases to ascertain validity of the exam results. Once validity of an exam result is established, the held score will be released to the appropriate board of nursing and subsequently to the candidate." It also mentions that it can take a few additional days to resolve test issues that result in a hold.

With all of that said, in my case, the hold pop-up only showed up for the first 12 hours or so after the exam then changed to the "good" pop-up after that and a little under 48 hours later, my quick results posted, confirming I passed. I kept telling myself that if I had failed, they wouldn't bother to review my results. I didn't do anything wrong, besides perhaps reading/answering questions quickly, so any review would show that I took the test without violating any rules. Hang in there!!

Thank you, that helps me feel better. I took it very quickly, but I felt like I was guessing a lot.

I felt the same way! Even though everyone says that it feels awful when it is over, I was *certain* that I failed.

It's easier said than done but try not to think about it too much! It's over now and you'll having your passing results soon!!

I took mine on Saturday 1/25. Still getting the on hold pop up. No quick results yet and it's been over 48 hours.

Where are you guys from? Florida I've seen posts results really quick. I know why my hold happened, I finished in like 45 minutes.

I'm from south Carolina and my results have been on hold over 48 hours without any quick results. I keep trying to re register and get the same pop up every time. "Results on hold..."

I'm in indiana. I finished fast too. And my palm wouldn't read on the way out.

I had no issues except how quickly I finished.

Good luck to all of you waiting! I've heard many stories from my friends where they were on hold and each of them ended up passing. I hope the situation is the same for you all.
