The candidate currently has test results on hold...

Nursing Students NCLEX

Alright everyone. Has anyone ever got this message before? I just took my NCLEX RN about an hour ago. "The candidate currently has test results on hold..." was the message that popped up. I know it isn't the good pop up, but there is little hope. It didn't go to the CC screen at all. As far as my test goes, these are the questions I got...

Several S.A.T.P, I also got a good handful of exhibit questions, got one drag and drop where I had to do the procedure for helping the doctor insert a central venous catheter, I got a hot spot question, then as for my multiple choice I got the norm. Psych questions, therapeutic response questions and so fourth.

I am not sure how I feel about my test. I know I walked out upset and wanted to cry because I feel like I failed. It just seemed like it went to fast. It shut off at 75 questions. This could be good or bad.

Can anyone relate to me? Has anyone passed with this pop up and these types of questions before?? I am an absolute wreck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no results either. Do you think it's worth calling? This is a nightmare. :( I hope this is a good thing for us. I just don't understand the whole "hold" situation.

I was thinking about calling, but I'm not sure who to call.

I would assume pearson. I'm not sure though. Do you see a license anywhere on your board of nursing? I don't know how long that takes to show up there.

Nothing on my BON. I'm on hold on the phone with Pearson now.

Let me know what they say, ill call them once I hear from you.

Well I think I talked to someone from India. She tried to tell me that the exam day isn't included in the 48 hours, and the quick results probably wouldn't be there until Wednesday then.

Ha, oh geez. I think by this time, something would change. Even the pop up. I was reading of other people taking their tests on fridays and getting results on Sunday. So I don't believe what she said was accurate. Ill call now and see where I get. :)

Let me know what they say!

Alright I just got off the phone with them. They said my state does not participate in the quick results either. I don't know if thats true or not, but I have a friend who tested here where I live in South Carolina, and she got her results in two days. That was this past December.

I just checked NCSBN and my state participates in the quick results. Where are you from?

Pearson is typically less than helpful on the phone. According to NCSBN, South Carolina does participate in the quick results option:

I wish I had more helpful advice other than being patient. The somewhat reassuring thing I've heard is that it's more common for a tester to be placed on hold to confirm a passing exam.

I'm in Indiana. I know they do quick results. She was just saying that the exam day doesn't count, and Sunday doesn't count. So basically today is the start of the 2 business days. I don't believe that though. I'm just trying to be patient, but it's so hard.
