The B word. Again!

Well, I am where we have been belted with snow. They are using the "B" word again....yup BLIZZARD and not of the Dairy Queen Blizzard.

Any one else dealing with this mess?

Booooo! I am not at all a beach person, but this is making me crave someplace tropical.

I'm going to Florida next month for vacation, you are all welcome to join me if you can get out of your snowed in houses by then.

Seriously though, this thread has stopped being all lighthearted fun. I genuinely feel awful for all of you living with this crazy huge amount of snow. I'm also pretty darn worried you might just go from bad to worse when this stuff melts too fast and instead of snow there's tons of property damage due to flooding. Happened to us a couple years ago, and since I don't live in a flood prone area nobody had flood insurance. Some of the washed out roads are still not totally repaired, nobody expected that kind of damage so the budget just wasn't there for quick repair.

Hey that's freezing for us now ;). We can't handle 40 degree nights here.

LOL!! My coat comes on when it gets below 75! I bought my coat over 30 years ago when I went to college in Gainesville:rolleyes:.

Yesterday I walked outside wearing my winter coat, gloves and a hat and thought "it's kinda hot out". Got in my car and the thermostat read 17 degrees. Today:
