My dad served 30 years and went through two wars. I was lucky enough to get him back. There but for the grace of God..........
For those who served..........thank you.
For those who are still in uniform.......thank you for keeping the peace.
For those who died..........my heartfelt gratitude for giving the Ultimate Sacrifice

I had 2 experiences this week with 2 WW2 vets. The first gentleman was the youngest of SIX brothers, all of whom went overseas and only 2 came back. He was still getting choked up talking about it with me this week.
My next gentleman, won the purple heart in the South Pacific..His photo with his platoon was on the cover of Life magazine which I got to see in his room.
My husband has been working with the Iraq/Afghanistan, Korean & Vietnam vets and frequently comes home pretty choked up about it. Oh yeah, he's also a vet, Persian Gulf.
Thanks to all of you who served and let's remember those who paid the ultimate price..
