4th time taking NCLEX RN...Kaplan Scores

Published

Hey guys so tomorrow will be my 4th attempt at taking the NCLEX. I have been thru alot since finishing nursing school (grandma having a major stroke right after graduation and passing this past January), but recently have been really cracking down on studying. I have used Hurst, NCSBN, and Kaplan in the past but this time around have really mostly been focusing on Kaplan. My scores are below

Trainer 1: 72.0%

Trainer 2: 66.7%

Trainer 3: did not finish

Trainer 4: 65.3%

Trainer 5: 68.7%

Trainer 6:57%

Trainer 7: 60.4%

Sample test 1: 68%

Sample test 2: 70.0%

Sample test 3: 83.3%

Sample test 4: 42%

Readiness: 62.2%

What do you guys think of my scores??? I hope that I pass this time around, I've been thru alot and feel like this is finally my time to pass!!

Best advice I have is answer thousands of practice questions and study the rationales after each question. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to study the rationales of why the correct answer to the practice questions are correct.

In addition to the above, if you haven't already, review the priority and delegation book by LaCharity and review all those rationales as well! Also make sure to do most of the qbank too. Scores look good. :)

Your scores look really good. I only got a 58% on QT7 and I passed with 75 questions. So be confident and pass that test. Good luck

Took my exam today and finished in 110 questions. Tried the pearson vue trick and got the "good pop up" HOPEFULLY ITS TRUE!!!! :)

Specializes in Med/ Surg/ Telemetry, Public Health.

Try LaCharity PDA and Saunders.

That's awesome!! Praying for you! Did you feel that Kaplan helped you a bunch? I take mine tomorrow! SUPER SCARED!

CSULB_RN_GRAD, BSN, stop being scared!!!!! I know you're going to pass. You've done the work. Be confident. If you take your test in the afternoon, forget about getting your quick results over the weekend lol. I took mine at 2 and got my results on Tuesday, that was quite the wait. I know you'll do great. Good luck!!!!

Yea I felt like Kaplan helped me more than anything. I used hurst in the past and I felt like it helped as well with a content overview but overall Kaplan is what I stuck to this time around. REMEDIATE REMEDIATE REMEDIATE is my best advice!! But dont stress out! Youll do great just pray and trust God...YOU GOT THIS!!
