I'm starting the program next semester and wanted to know if I should keep my anat/chem/micro/physio textbooks or sell them back (love to have the cash).
Anyone think I need them as a reference in my nursing classes?

I kept everything but the nasty, dreaded chemistry book lol but I haven't referred to any of them.

After A&P II I sold back my book. Big mistake. I wound up going back and re-purchasing it because the Nursing books just don't explain things well enough.

I sell my books on Ebay. I get a lot more than I would from the bookstore. If I need a reference, I just go to the library and look in the reference copy of our textbooks. I have never needed any of my pre-req books for anything. I have kept my pharmacology and pathophys books, since I need those for careplans still.

I haven't had any need to refer back to any of my pre-req books, which is good, since I sold them back! LOL! My nursing, med/surg, etc books have been all I need.

The A&P and Micro books are handy references for health assessment, med-surg, etc. If you have to choose one, I would go with A&P. Good luck with the nursing program :)

I had to sell all my books to help get money for the next semester's. I did okay without them.

I keep all my science and psych books, everything else I donate to more needy students. Not worth getting 5 bucks back when I re-sell them.
I want to keep them for future reference.

I only sold my chemistry book. I use my A&P book so far. Probably will need the microbiology book.
