Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference.

Not yet. I actually called the school of nursing today regarding that eligibility email and they just said that it will come when it comes. The woman I spoke to also threw out a much larger number on applicants - she said they are processing over 900 admissions at the moment. 

900 is crazy!! And yeah the last email I got was that they processing my application. I'm so glad I applied to other schools ?

I think it is really just a communication nightmare, and we're left to assume (which by this point I'm assuming no news is good news). My biggest issue is sorting through the abundant emails I get everyday from the school and fellow students to find that one golden ticket of nursing school info from them. I think I'd rather receive letter by dove at this point.

Can you send a picture of what the email looked like? I didn't get anything but the reminder email about turning in applications...

What kind of emails are you receiving? I haven't gotten any emails from TWU since Feb 5 when they confirmed my TEAS transcript saying "Thank you for sending your ATI transcript. We will continue processing your application.”

My TWU email hasn't received anything at all really.

The last msg I got from TWU was on Jan 30th and it was just reminders. ? What emails are yall getting??

the last email I got was on feb 6th from nursingcas saying my app was verified

Just general emails from professors, students, events, etc. Not related to nursing unless it is advising related.

it's making me anxious now that im aware the number increased for fall semester from 500+ to 900+ applicants. I hope in the future there are more affordable traditional two year BSN programs in the houston area. I want to feel secure w my stats; I just hope the 10% is in my favor.

I def feel worse about my chances hearing that more than 900+ applied, especially as a transfer applicant. ? And I heard the Dallas campus is even more competitive than the Houston one!

Same! I heard they give extra "points" to those that took their prerequisites at TWU. I took mine at Dallas College ?
