Can anyone give a good description of their experiences at Texas Wesleyan distance CRNA program? (Cincinnati, Kentucky area) I am thinking about applying there but I don't know how the program really works?

:yeah: Congratz nitey and e1 else!! We go to most hospitals in cincy so u never know! How many will be at the cincy twu site? Seems like a great program from what Ive heard- good luck in it!!!

LoveHearts, I believe they do have another round of interviews Jan. 5 & 6. At least that's what I was told in my interview. That's why I was surprised to hear from them yesterday. This was my first year applying, the 5 or 6 years thing referred to me finishing up school and getting the experience and requirements I needed to apply. I got on here a lot when I was in nursing school and read other people sharing their acceptances so it's good to be the one doing that now. Good luck!

presrna, I interviewed for the Cincinnati area clinical sites. The person that coordinated those interviews is who called me. They told me the school would be contacting me soon. I'm not sure which clinical site I will be at. From what I understand everyone for all the clinical sites were interviewed at St. E's. I imagine I'll find that out when the school contacts me. I'll probably go ahead and call on Monday though and ask her when I should expect to find that out.

Hey 407RN congrats on your acceptance. When was your interview and was it for a distance learning site or ft worth? if ft worth, what clinical site did you get?

I got in at the Cincy site. My interview was at the beginning of Dec.

I got a phone call from one of the coordinators. The other people I know that got in also got phone calls on Sat from coordinators. LoveHearts, R u in? If not, have you applied other places?

I will be your classmate this fall at St. E. =) Have you heard anything since "the phone call"? I have not and want to make sure that I have not missed anything. Are you from the Cinci area? I will be commuting from Lexington, Kentucky.

Wow, glad to hear it. I am originally from Richmond KY. Small world. No, I haven't heard anything from TWU yet. I understand a letter will be out in Feb. sometime. I am currently in Florence KY, working in Cincy, Looking forward to class. The commute from Lex isn't really all that bad. I can recommend some other accomidations for you up here if you are ever interested.

Where in Lexington are you working?
