UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

Sup everybody ! knowing it's a bit early, but I just wanted to start this thread for those applying to Texas Tech ABSN 2026 program. Anyone here plan on applying?

I applied for the 24' Cycle and no one heard back until the week of Sept 28 around 9 AM. I'm actually shocked they haven't sent out an email to add a third location so that might not be a thing this year because in that cycle we received an email that last week of August to add an additional location.

Interesting, so you heard back on a Saturday?

The waiting game is painful. If its a no just tell me! Haha

No, it would have been September 28, 2023 on Thursday. Unfortunately it's just at random.

I was waitlisted which was awful and why I'm here again applying haha. You can call everyday all day and they won't give an update it's just based off when they have their decision made which sucks. I know when acceptance came out during that cycle it was in waves so like some came in the morning-afternoon.

When did you get the interview email that year?

Hi everyone, I'm also applying for the Dallas location and have been following this thread for the longest. Just like everyone else I'm on edge about the acceptance letters coming out. I'm also in the midst of applying to another program just in case I don't get in! Wishing the best for everyone!!

Hey y'all, 

I've decided to finally post in here. When do y'all actually think we'll hear back? I know they said by the end of September but do y'all think we'll finally get a status update next week or after? I swear I check my status portal and email multiple times a day. Also do y'all think that since they did not ask for a location preference again like they did last year that means they had a small number of applicants this year?

I was wondering the same thing about the location preference!

I am curious if the traditional program has heard back? My co-worker is in the accelerated ABSN program and will be finishing this year. She told me their cohort were told the news September 9th last year but that the traditional program knew they were accepted before they did even though the application dateline for the traditional closed after the ABSN deadline 😭

I am confused by this "preference location" email? Didn't we rank our location in he application? So I would think the school already knows our preference.

Previous years they sent an email verifying locations and if needed adding a third location, this year they have not

Yeah my coworker said we only selected two locations on the application and that they had emailed them about a third location. I only chose Lubbock, so I was confused LOL.
