UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

Sup everybody ! knowing it's a bit early, but I just wanted to start this thread for those applying to Texas Tech ABSN 2026 program. Anyone here plan on applying?

I have felt this every single day. I feel like the interviews were not the best I could have done at all, it worries me so much. But maybe we will all find out shortly..

What worries me is that under certifications for the video essay, I only had the option to upload one attachment so I uploaded my BSL certificate. I know it is a requirement to have our CNA license, so I am emailed my certificate to my admissions advisor. She said she will add to my file and I should be good on that part... still, I'm certain I was to someone combine both certificates and upload them together.

I did the same thing! I was scared that if I tried to get out of the portal to make them one document it would mess it up.

I was able to upload my certifications with the application in the portal.

I think I have checked my email at least 40 times today, no joke. I've logged onto my portal a few times as well.🫠

Will the portal completely change when there's an answer or is there somewhere we specifically look? Does anyone know that from previous people in the program?(:

There will be a link that says 

Status Update An update to your application was last posted [date].

Previous cohorts received an email confirming location preferences prior to receiving acceptances, I wonder if they are still doing that?

Last year, acceptance notifications were sent on Sept 9th. The portal will change in that it tells you there is a status update for your application with a link to follow. I was given a link for an enrollment deposit, and that's how I knew I was accepted. Then, about 15-30 minutes later, my profile updated with the acceptance letter.

So I should be stalking my portal, not my email?

I just looked at my application profile and my emails from last year. I was notified on both. The email came a few minutes after the portal changed after looking back at my photos (because of course I took a photo of my acceptance letter haha). My advice is turn your notifications on for your email, and just wait. Try and stay busy and not think about it. Trust me I know it's much easier said than done!
