HELLO EVERYONE!
Is anyone applying to TTU Traditional BSN nursing program Fall of 2015?? I thought this would be a great place we could all come together and ask questions, answer questions, encourage each other, and stay up to date!!
Here are some questions to get going:
What campus are you applying to?
How many campuses can we apply to?
If you are applying for Fall 2015 have you completed all 57 credit hours?
Cumulative and science GPA? (If too personal, don't answer) :)
How many volunteer hours will you have?
Does anyone know about how many apply vs. get accepted?
Any tips, advice, or information you want to share with us scared future nurses?!
When is everyone scheduled to take the TEAS?
If you've taken the TEAS already, what did you think?!
**I want this to be a positive, helpful and encouraging thread for everyone!!**
I hope this thread will get something started!

@angieperry...How come she got rejected with that amazing stats? I feel sad for her! I hope she got accepted into UTMB or somewhere else! I got a call today and was told I should hear something next week but yesterday another lady told me to keep checking my email the next couple of days...next week...next week....next week...I'm tired of hearing this phrase!
This is directly from my acceptance email to the Lubbock campus:
"All offers must be accepted through the Merlin Application System. There is an extensive waiting list for students to join our program. I will need to extend this offer to one of those individuals if you decline."
So if you haven't gotten an offer yet, there may still be hope once other schools start giving out offers, spots may free up at each campus.
Good luck to those who are still on the waiting list!
Also, I'm looking for a roommate for The Edge apartments (the one that is literally across the street from the UMC). I'm a guy, but I'm okay with a male or female room mate. As long as you don't smoke or make a lot of noise, then I'm fine with anyone who is in the incoming Fall 2015 class.
I just checked Merlin and Ive been offered a spot at the permian basin location! I still haven't recieved an email but the offer is on Merlin. I really didn't think I was going to get in. I felt like my interview went horribly. Does anyone know how long the program length is? I originally thought it was 16 months but ive heard its shorter?

They did this to my best friend last year. They kept telling her they send acceptances in batches but it wasn't true. They send out emails one time. She waited and last minute getting to the beginning of the semester, she got her denial letter. She had a 3.89 GPA and 94% teas v Score. I would rather pray you get in somewhere else you applied. It's really crazy. They base their selection not only on GPA OR TEAS V SCORES. They take a whole lot of things in consideration. Your interview, personal statement and what not...Good luck. If it's God's will, no matter how long you wait, you will get your good news.
