Is anyone applying to TTU Traditional BSN nursing program Fall of 2015?? I thought this would be a great place we could all come together and ask questions, answer questions, encourage each other, and stay up to date!!

Tech isn't a program where they just rank the Top 75 candidates and those are the ones who are accepted. Some programs do that but not at Tech. They factor in others criteria as listed on the website and I feel like the personal interview really gives them a good look at you and a feel for if your a good fit for the program. You haven't gotten a no so I would still keep your hopes up until you hear otherwise 😄😄
Congradulations to everyone who got in!! My best friend also got in at the lubbock campus. If the personal interview was a big factor in it then I definitly know why I didn't get in because mine was awful! Was so nervous I couldn't even breath. But oh well ill be applying for the spring! I'm still happy I was fortunate enough to get an interview. Goodluck to everyone else still waiting to hear back from other campuses!
@ttu1995...Did they send you a rejection letter yet? I haven't received any email yet! Last Friday I called the lady and she said they are still not done with Lubbock! She told me to check my emails on Monday and Tuesday!
No I haven't officially got rejected yet but you said you called Last week and they said all the lubbock ones would be sent out by Friday, so I just assumed
@ttu1995...sry they gave me a conflicting information. One lady said all emails would be out by Friday and the other lady told me to check my email on Monday cause they are still not done with Lubbock. I'm still kinda confused! Anyways let's keep our head up! You have an incredible stats too! Don't let your head hang down! Sometimes God closes small doors to open the big ones!
I called the office again today and they told me to keep checking my emails the next couple of days! I don't know what to say! This is crazy! I have exam next week and I couldn't concentrate and read! I check my emails and merlins every single minute! Whenever I call them, they give me a conflicting info. I can't figure out the reason they make this thing drag on so long!
I'm pretty sure all of the people that got calls had put more than one location on there application. So they were just calling to see which location they wanted so they could send an acceptance email for they're desired location. And they couldn't figure out everyone else until they had those responses. However I don't know why it's taking so long and I don't know why they didn't send all the official acceptance emails at the same time. I got called last week and got my acceptance email on Thursday. And they needed to know which campus I wanted to go to by last Wednesday so they should have the rest figured out by now.
I'm pretty sure the people that had gotten called were people that put Lubbock as there first choice so that probably makes a difference. Since you put Abilene as your first choice then it would be Abilene's admission officers that are dealing with your application.
There's some people who have gotten calls saying they didn't get in at all. So at this point if you have not gotten a call, I'd say there's still some hope! I just feel like they are very disorganized and don't even know what's going on because half the time one advisor will say something and another will say the opposite.
