Well, another day down with no word. Awesome. But it's early, still hopeful! :D

Brad, the TA/tutor for the program, said they increased the cohort size to 35 this year but that he didn't know how many applicants were being interviewed. All I know is that there were interviews every 20 minutes from 8a-5p over 3 days...that's a lotta interviews!

Nothing yet... I'm guessing tomorrow will be a big day for us, one way or another.

I want to ask why you think it will be tomorrow but actually I'm hoping it will be tomorrow. Im tired of waiting!!! (and checking my email... )

I'm really just speculating. Wishful thinking :D

I think most of us are just waiting for a "sorry".

those lucky dogs must have good news last friday, and they have one week to make a decision to accept it or not.

if no lucky dog reject the admission offer...............we can get the sorry email tomorrow.

one week past.........

any one get any news?

ok, next monday, all can get their "sorry" email.

I think it really just depends on the admissions committee at each school. Sorry but I am not waiting for a decline letter. I'm waiting to hear on my acceptance so I can go ahead with my current plans. Waiting for failure is insane. Why apply if you feel you arent even gonna get accepted? El Paso is different from Austin and have different people looking over applications. Just because Austin sent out offers of admission doesn't mean much for the el paso folks. Keep your head up! They said the middle of November... No reason to have doubts yet.

Woke up to my rejection e-mail this morning. Not the best wake-up call, I must say... Good luck to anyone still waiting and especially to those of you headed to Lubbock next month! It's going to be an awesome year! :)

And for anyone who's curious...I asked what I could do to make myself more competitive, and Dr. Edwards said that completing my coursework, especially my CNA, would make me more competitive.

Yep! Me too... Woke up to my rejection letter at well. However I did find out that all those that were accepted were notified the 5th of November. I'm a little bummed because I felt that I was pretty competitive with my grades however maybe it was the Teas that did me in... Who knows... On to the next option.
