  1. Hi all! I'm a new nurse and doing a report on Dobutamine for my unit. I need some "words of wisdom" on anything related to administering Dobutamine from experienced nurses. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!
  2. Hey all recent grads! I am going to graduate with my BSN this year, but I have found that I don't think I can work in a hospital! I have never wanted to work in a hospital, and after a year in ICU/CCU, I feel even more confident about that. However, i'm so LOST about other areas to look into as a fresh graduate. I would LOVE to work in an ortho office, but I know the chances of that are slim to none. I am open to all suggestions. Thanks!
  3. Hello! I am looking into becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. One of my biggest questions is, will I be able to work while in school? Like can my clinical hours work into my current shifts? I know that a lot of the programs (I'm in Texas) are part-time and online. However, I was unsure if I would be needing to quit work, or what. If you can answer my question, please let me know! Thanks!
  4. Thank you so much! That's what I thought, but I thought that there must be more! Thanks again!
  5. Okay, I am STUMPED on this question. Can anyone explain to me why streptococcus grows slowly? Thanks!
  6. Where can I find information on the Red Cross CNA course?
  7. The total for me has been about $850 for tuition and books. Hope that helps!
  8. Can you challenge the CNA exam in Texas?
  9. I'm also going to be taking in Spring 2009. However, I"m going to keep this thread...thanks for the links!
  10. Hello! I also looked at both programs. I am hoping to start the Tech BSN program next fall. After comparing the two, I found that Tech was quicker, cheaper, and I had less prereqs to take. Let me know what you decide to do!
  11. Also, has anyone had success getting in touch with someone there to help?
  12. I registered for Rio Salado for next semester. It was the cheapest, and you don't have to buy a lab kit.
  13. I am so interested in this program, but I am quite confused. I currently have a BS in Kinesiology from Texas A&M. I am finising my pre-reqs this Spring. Here are my questions... When could I start? When could I finish? How much will it cost me? THANKS!
  14. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
  15. Texas Tech Second-Degree BSN permalink Has anyone done this program? Or has anyone been accepted to this program?? I am wanting to start this program next Fall, and I just wanted some input. Thanks!!!
