I am applying for Texas Tech's Accelerated BSN program. So I wanted to start a thread for all Fall2013 hopefuls. I think I am going to apply to both Austin and the other location that is not El Paso(I can't think of the name)

KeeneNursetobe, have you thought about commuting at all or will you be moving to Abilene? I know we haven't gotten accepted yet but I'm just being positive. :)

Sorry for taking so long to respond to this. I am thinking of getting an apartment, depending on the cost. I can't move my family, but I could stay there during the week. Interview tomorrow!! I hope they like us.

How is everyone getting to interviews tomorrow in Abilene? Is renting a car the only option?? Trying to save money if I don't have too.. I'm flying in but didnt know if cabs were available..

Yes they do have cabs... Just google it. I found several companies... GOOD LUCK :yes:

Hi everyone. I also got an interview to the Abilene location for the 28th but I cant make it because Im pregnant and thats a week to my due date. My Doctor doesnt recommend flying there so do you think they will grant on the phone interview? I really wanna get into this program and Im scarred they wont grant a phone interview.

BiBi321, so did you get your phone interview or talk to someone about rescheduling your interview?

oh yes I was thanks so much. Been so busy so I havent been on here in a while. I Interviewed last week thursday so fingers crossed.

I called Roadrunner taxi... It's $6 per person, plus $1 per mile.

Rental car thru budget is Approximately $44.

Is anyone wanting to maybe share car expense for tomorrow. I fly in at 11 am, and leave at 5 pm. Please let me know soon!

Does anyone know where I can take pathophysiology online this summer. I was suppose to take it at Collin County but I missed the registration by I day and Rio Salado is way too expensive.

Sorry I only know about a Patho course online via UTA, which I am guessing is more expensive.

Did you end up having a phone interview or meeting with someone face to face on Thursday?
