Texas Tech-Accelerated BSN Spring 2020

I haven't seen a thread for those of us applying May 1st to the January 2020 cohort. I'm wondering how heavily they weigh the TEAS. Also, I have heard as long as you meet all criteria they typically give you an interview. Has anyone else heard this? I really like how they take a holistic approach to grant admissions. I'm wanting to apply to UTA but I feel like the main way you get extra points is by attending school there which I did not do! We'll see!

I just got mine yesterday and I submitted everything back in may.

@stephmichelle I still have "awaiting" status on my TEAS and transcripts. I turned everything in July 2nd... I started my application on May 1st when it opened but held off to submit until I had some last pieces finished. Online it said it doesn't matter when you submit, and everyone will have the same chance no matter when you submitted, but i'm definitely wishing I had sent mine in way sooner!

yea! i sent mine super early, like the latest thing was sent in early june. The only thing i don't have in there is my CNA because its not done yet but they said that doesn't matter, so idk why i havent gotten mine ?

So I know we all got emails regarding the application process and it taking time which I totally understand, but did anyone else get an email stating "ACTION REQUIRED: Incomplete TTUHSC Application"?? Because I was not freaking out until I got that email yesterday. I have turned in everything, but it is still "awaiting". I called Elizabeth and left a voicemail this morning, but have not heard back. I just didn't know if they sent that to everyone whose applications they haven't gone over or if I am truly missing something. I have all my receipts just incase though.

I received that email before the application deadline because they were needing my transcripts even though they had already been delivered. It basically told me that I had missing items and if I did not submit them before the application deadline then I would not be considered for admission. I emailed them and it was fixed. If you turned everything in just continue to contact them and let them know you have receipts! It may be a mistake ?

I received a "Attention-Application is not complete" email yesterday... anyone else? I turned everything in July 2nd. I know they said they would reach out if anything was missing but I feel like it's taking SO long!! Last year's cohort already knew they had interviews by this time. I know I am being so impatient lol. Anyone else?

I received that email last Monday (22nd) due to one “missing” transcript and immediately emailed a screenshot of my request with the date. I just heard back from Elizabeth this morning and looks like it was finally input. I order everything and submitted my application in June 28. Hope that’s helpful! Hang in there, keep those order receipts! Wish we knew Friday like last year’s cohort but maybe by this Friday like the year before that!

I will hear something next based on the submission dates that y'all posted. I submitted all items and paid on July 10th. I have been checking the portal everyday and am all green.

I feel like it’s taking so long too! I’m hoping we will know by next week. The only things that still haven’t been checked off on my application are the bachelors degree and medical terminology. I turned all my stuff in July 2nd.. ?

Yes! I submitted everything on the 2nd as well. It's driving me nuts lol. It also makes me so nervous to think that it's taking forever due to the high number of applicants..

It's definitely taking too long. This whole waiting process is torture! Lol. I check my email religiously in hopes of seeing something about the interview. Just trying to be patient.

@kantwine I was thinking about that too! If they’re taking longer this year it means there’s a lot more applicants ? It’s making me more anxious lol
