Texas Tech-Accelerated BSN Spring 2020

I haven't seen a thread for those of us applying May 1st to the January 2020 cohort. I'm wondering how heavily they weigh the TEAS. Also, I have heard as long as you meet all criteria they typically give you an interview. Has anyone else heard this? I really like how they take a holistic approach to grant admissions. I'm wanting to apply to UTA but I feel like the main way you get extra points is by attending school there which I did not do! We'll see!

I just wanted to hop on here to give y’all some encouragement. I remember being antsy myself last year & just know that this program is great but isn’t always the most organized.

Try not to get in your heads too much and over analyze, things have been kinda crazy with Tech administrative offices the last few weeks. We had scholarships that weren’t disbursed for almost half of our spring semester that finally came through but were massively delayed.

Try to keep yourselves busy but keep an eye on your email! They’ll come soon, hang in there!

Same! Finally got all my transcripts received in portal and my evaluation back! Just gotta hang in there a couple more weeks!

Yes!! I hit a HUGE roadblock but thank goodness everything is taken care of. I'm hoping we hear next week!

That's great that you were able get that cleared. I haven't received anything! I have all my prerequisites completed so I don't know if that matters. Fingers crossed and praying.

They finally checked my med terminology off a day ago but they didn’t check off the bachelors degree. Is anyone else the same? I also have not received a transcript evaluation.. I think I have completed all my prerequesites so I shouldn’t be missing anything but just wanted to be 100 percent sure ?

Hey! So I was always told they will reach out to you if they need anything or have any questions! Mine was an absolute mess! I had my letter of good standing, CNA, and enrollment proof sent like three months ago and they came back and said it was all missing. I found proof in my emails that I had sent them and it was all good! So they will reach out to you with any questions/clarifications they need and have.

Me too! The email was a pain so go into your app portal and select the time there! That’s what I did!

Just picked my interview time!! Does anyone see the prompt for the essay anywhere? I see information on how to submit it but nothing saying what we're supposed to write about??
