Those who got responses, what kind of experience did you have and what were your degrees? Also what topics did y'all write about?

No PCT experience, just worked retail and no prior degree other than the BSN I'm about to receive. I also wrote about a memorable experience on the floor I applied to and chose to be on that unit for my collaborative and capstone class. I networked and the nurses on the floor put a good word in for me to the manager and charge nurse.

Looking back whenever I first started clinical, I would've networked a lot more and put my name out there.

I didn't but I actually emailed them yesterday and they replied they are "still reviewing applications"

It opened and closed within a day. I'm hoping not a lot of people applied so they are reviewing them thoroughly but then again they might have already someone in mind LOL

yeah I was so shocked when I saw it was open, I feel like they would have sent stuff out by now though!

Did anyone else interview for the Dallas new grad ED position that was posted at the beginning of march? I interviewed today but was wondering how many people they interviewed since the position was only posted for 1 day
