  1. I remember taking it during 2021 online and it was verbatim to the PowerPoints! But things change!
  2. For my first semester I used a lot of NurseInTheMaking flashcards/nursing book and I feel like that helped me a lot. also, reviewing her PowerPoints and buying the Sauders book and answering the questions pertaining to the material being covered! the evening/weekend program started this year after I graduated! I'm not sure on that one!
  3. Hi! I took Pathophysiology prior to the start of the program and never took pharmacology. I think you're fine. They teach you everything you need to know hence why you don't need both! Study tips are read everything. Look at YouTube videos for content you don't understand. semester 1 was easy for me! Professor S is amazing.
  4. Are you applying to LVN program? Or ADN?
  5. I picked Brookhaven over other campuses because of their NCLEX pass rate. I felt all my professors were helpful and you figure out early on who will be your mentors throughout the program that you can reach out to if you have any questions through out the program.
  6. I just graduated from the program in December (Brookhaven) I'd be glad to answer any questions for yall!
  7. The applications went live early April and closed yesterday for the October 2025 cohort.
  8. For anyone who got an into the Summer cohort, has anyone received anymore onboarding info after the offer letter?
  9. Oh wow! I applied for that Mom/Baby position on 3/31 so maybe I'll hear back from in late April LOL
  10. They also did it for a Mom/Baby position in Dallas. Haven't heard anything from it though. I emailed last week and they said they are still looking at resumes (?)
  11. One of the best things you can do is highlight your clinical experience—include the unit, facility, and how many hours you spent there. If you did a nurse externship or capstone (especially at UTSW) be sure to list it! I was an internal applicant, and I truly believe that helped me land my first-choice unit.
  12. Did anyone apply for the Mom/Baby GN job for THR Dallas that was posted yesterday? It's no longer on there.
  13. Do you know the starting pay for new grads at THR?
  14. It opened and closed within a day. I'm hoping not a lot of people applied so they are reviewing them thoroughly but then again they might have already someone in mind LOL
  15. Does anyone know when application went live for you guys last year? Planning on applying for the October 2025 cohort!
