Texas Children's Summer 2020

I wanted to start this for students/first year nurses who are applying at Texas Children's for the summer 2020 cohort, the application should open end of February/March. If anyone has insight to the firm timeline, good contacts, unit specific knowledge, this would be a good place do talk about it!

If TCH offered you a job would you accept It and resend your previous offer? Just curious how this all works

No, I'm sticking with the offer I accepted ?

When I accepted the offer I emailed the TCH recruiter that I would be withdrawing my application because I accepted another offer and she never replied.

I tried emailing her again but a manager (not sure which unit) told someone I know that offers will not be going out until after June 1st now. I wanted to get in touch with Laura to see if this is true for all units

WOW!! I hope that is not the case... It seems crazy that a lot of people from different units do have offers from TCH but now they are deciding to put a freeze on us? That would really suck

Yeah it would be crazy if that were the case. that’s why I wanted to double check. Has anyone from PICU received offers?

I haven't heard anything from NICU

Has anyone heard anything from Laura? I'm so hoping she keeps us in the loop.
