Any word on if Texas Children’s will have a Fall nurse residency?

Does anyone know when the application for fall will open?

did he say anything about us being considered for the fall or when that application comes out?

He said he reached out to HR this morning and is waiting to hear back and then will inform everyone

I just spoke with Ian Koh and he told me that HR has not informed him that the residency is cancelled yet

Some nurse managers have previously said after June 1st we would know something. Unfortunately, TCH is still laying off a lot of employees, so I would be shocked if this residency class still happens.

Can anyone here tell me about how their experience has been at St. Luke's so far? Thanks!

Did you have a second interview with them or the the first big interview?

Is anyone else worried they might cancel this residency class all together? I know people who are working in the PICU right now and they are having to take mandatory time off because the census is too low at the hospital.

The operator told me that Laura is most likely working from home and accidentally left the wrong number so that is why we can’t reach her personal number

That’s why it doesn’t seem true to me! I have tried to get in touch with a nurse manager but cannot. Maybe someone else will have better luck

I tried emailing her again but a manager (not sure which unit) told someone I know that offers will not be going out until after June 1st now. I wanted to get in touch with Laura to see if this is true for all units
