Texas Children's Summer 2020

I wanted to start this for students/first year nurses who are applying at Texas Children's for the summer 2020 cohort, the application should open end of February/March. If anyone has insight to the firm timeline, good contacts, unit specific knowledge, this would be a good place do talk about it!

I received an offer from Memorial Hermann and the recruiter told me that if I had questions to contact her to her personal cellphone number because she is working from home and when I interviewed virtually with Harris Health it seemed from the background that she was also at home LOL

Oh WOW! I didn't even think about that, it definitely makes sense. CONGRATS on your offer!! What unit?!

I work at TCH and as far as I know no offers have went out due to the “COVID virus”. It was said that offers will go out at the same time. The recruiter was off last week.

The operator told me that Laura is most likely working from home and accidentally left the wrong number so that is why we can’t reach her personal number

Her number is still listed as the number I spoke to her from her desk. She wasn't online the week though. Our skypes work from home and desk and hers was not signed on all week last week

Can you accept the offer and then reject it later on? That’s what I did.
