Temple Jr College LVN 2012-Anyone else waiting on their letter??

I am anxiously awaiting to hear from the LVN Dept. to see if I got in or not! Anyone else? I hate having to wait so long, haha. I just wanted to introduce myself and wish everyone else luck! I am crossing my fingers and hope that we all get in. My name is Amanda, and I am hoping to get in the LVN program, and then bridge to a BSN program soon after that. :nurse:

just fyi the williamson county health dept is giving meningitis vaccines until the 15th for 20$ .....wallgreens is 139$.

I just got my letter....IM IN!!!!!...temple campus....woohoo!!! congrats everyone who got, I knew as soon as I seen how thick the letter was before I opened it lol

Thanks everyone!...Awesome im not the only dude!! lol...I went ahead and got my tetorifice shot today and got a titer test for all the other shots to see what I need and don't need.....I gotta plan my TB test and getting all the paperwork filled out around my work schedule....But once school start I get to quit my job...which is kinda scary...but i'll be soooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy too :)

Woo hoo!! I am sure it will be scary to quit your job and go to school full time!! I just wish time would hurry up so we can start already!!! HA! I am super excited! Did they say how long it will take to get your titer test results back? I am going to go next week to get mine drawn.

The tech said probably 3 to 5 days...You know whats funny. The paperwork we got, it mentions the fast track Hep B shots and how you can do it within 4 months.....so maybe I should show my doc that :p lol.

So everyone that got in.. How many points do you think you got? Amanda and I think they picked the 9s, 8s, and some 7s.

Well the max you can get is nine, 1 for being in the area, 1 for the intro to AP and 1 for the computer class and a total of 6 for the hesi. Since you have to have a 70 or above on the Hesi I'm assuming it starts at 1 point for 70-74, 2 for 75-79, 3 for 80-84, 4 for 85-89, 5 for 90-94 and 6 for 95 - 100.

I got a 94 so i'm gonna say I got 8 points.
