Temple Jr College LVN 2012-Anyone else waiting on their letter??

I am anxiously awaiting to hear from the LVN Dept. to see if I got in or not! Anyone else? I hate having to wait so long, haha. I just wanted to introduce myself and wish everyone else luck! I am crossing my fingers and hope that we all get in. My name is Amanda, and I am hoping to get in the LVN program, and then bridge to a BSN program soon after that. :nurse:

Easiest way to descibe myself :p...I was literally right behind yall lol...well more directly behind Lisa I suppose...I thought it was funny, if I remember correctly, Lisa was coming to sit next to you and asked the girl on the end if the seat was taken and she was said yeah...so Lisa was like oookk i guess i'll sit over there..idk sounded funny when it happened..When all the taylor people raised hands it did look like a lot but when they went to talk with the lead instructor it didn't seem like to many. I think 25 to 30 are going to taylor..70 to 60 are going to temple.

Haha! I can't wait for school to start! Only a few more weeks..I am nervous and excited, but not looking foward to the final expenses. Ive already paid for class, so now I just need books, shoes, and a watch.

lol I had a watch...so I guess I need another...I paid for my background check and all that other stuff after orientation...I got my background check today...thats how extensive my background is..takes a day lol..my financial aid and all that is good to go. I actually got my stethoscope at the orientation...gonna go to the uniform place tomorrow to get my clothes...and all I will have left is the books, I've had very little luck trying to get them from some of the people who did last years courses..so I'm going to look online. Am I nervous...maybe if I bend over and my pants rip or something...thats about as nervous as I'll be...other than that i'm ready!

Yay! We got a lot done! Me and Lisa bought our stethescopes, but they had to special order them for us, since everyone was wanting the same color!! There is going to be a bunch of us with ocean blue stethescopes!!! The books online actually aren't that bad! I totalled it up, and it is only around like 220 dollars. I could be wrong though!!

Thats not to bad for the books...I'm probably going to wait a little bit for the books...we still have a month and some odd days before school starts...I figure i'll get my passport photos and books around the same time, fyi I think cvs online has a coupon to get 2 passport photos for around 7 bucks I think. As for the stethoscope...mines black, I got the name tag thing...granted I did put it on backwards lol, but atleast with those we knows who's is who's.

lol yeah, sort of a clip on thingy, idk how to explain it, but they were giving them away for free with a purchase. Good luck with getting everything ready...see you in june!

Hey yall...really important...if any of yall are still interested in getting all 3 semesters textbooks for about half price from one of the previous class's students...let me know, I have her email and according to the TC website the books for all 3 semesters comes up to about 1200 bucks but she was gonne give all of them except for I think one for 550. Let me know if any of yall are interested.
