Temple Jr College LVN 2012-Anyone else waiting on their letter??

I am anxiously awaiting to hear from the LVN Dept. to see if I got in or not! Anyone else? I hate having to wait so long, haha. I just wanted to introduce myself and wish everyone else luck! I am crossing my fingers and hope that we all get in. My name is Amanda, and I am hoping to get in the LVN program, and then bridge to a BSN program soon after that.

Hey guys! Our schedules are up on TConnect!!! We have class on Mondays and Thursdays, clinicals on tues and weds, and off Friday for the Summer semester. I have Collins for clinicals...anyone else???? I am sooo excited! Time is going by way to slow! Haha!

I have Eaton for my clinicals however it does not show days and times for my clinicals yet, says TBA but im guessing it'll be the same. I'm kind of thinking, as hard as it may be...I might be able to still work part time at my job during summer semester with this schedule.

My schedule does not list the teachers (I will be going to Taylor). Unless I am just missing something.

@Daniel- You are very brave to work!! I know I could not do it.. My toddler at home is enough work for me haha! @scrappinmama- Go to your registration statement. That is where it will show how much you owe and your teachers, etc.

No problem! It means that we can view some of the class online I think? On D2L. Some teachers use it, some don't. My A&P professor barely uses the online stuff since it is a class on campus, but some teachers will put a syllabus on there, or when assignments are due.

Nope, not yet! Have you? I hope to get it soon! I don't qualify for grants, but I am anxious to see how much I am getting in loans. I have no new loan available for this Summer, so I am glad that I still have some leftover from the 2011-2012 year!!!

I havnt gotten mine yet either, looks like we have a little over a month before it needs to be here. I get the pell plus loans and have loans left over on top of whatever is left over from working.

29 days till april 18th and we all get to meet!....Mr. Bond told me that we have a full class at temple, which means 70-ish people lol

Wow!! 70???? It will be very crowded in there. The next 29 days need to hurry up! Ha. I think I received my award letter late April of last year. I forgot.

I know, i'm ready to become a nurse and move forward!

I couldn't remember when I got my award letter last year either ...The only thing that sucks is deciding if im gonna quit work or not and if so, when lol its nerve racking!

Same here! I want to get my career going. Keep working, see if you can handle it. If it gets to stressful, you can always stop working. I was told if you do work, try not to work more than 12 hours a week! School is going to be enough hard work!
