Temple College 2015

Hello, I just wanted to start a thread for those of us applying for the LVN or RN programs at Temple College for 2015. We can share information, discuss any concerns, talk about the HESI exam, getting cleared through the Board of Nursing, or the just nursing program in general! Those of you that are already in the program are more than welcome to chime in.

PLEASE NOTE: I am in no way taking responsibility for any wrong information given, nor will I moderate this thread. I just want to meet new friends and support one another through the process of applying and getting our acceptance letters!

A's in prereqs

B in Lifespan, A for elective (comp 2)

Currently still finishing Micro and A&P (Probably a B and an A, respectively)

96.67 on the Hesi

Man I'm finishing Micro too. I can't believe they're no longer asking for it, I figured I might as well just stay in and learn because it's definitely useful stuff to know. I just hope they can be a little lenient with my HESI scores, you guys did really well, congrats.

Apparently, I went to turn in my application and I told her I was still in Microbiology because I needed to know if I'd be able to turn in a completed transcript and she said that Microbiology is no longer a requirement. But I think I'm still going to try to give them an updated transcript just to be on the safe side.

Yeah Micro has been dropped. I just got that confirmed this morning.

That was the one class I would not have finished for next years application term.

Hell yall. I applied for the ADN program this year. I am very nervous... I only got a 85 on my HESI :( but my GPA is a 3.765 and I only have 1 B. I do live in district so hopefully i still have a good shot in getting in this year.
