Published

Hey Everyone, I created this thread for anybody looking to apply for the 2016 LVN or ADN program at Temple College! Anyone and Everyone is welcome to come and discuss your application processes, Acceptance into the programs, your nursing history with Temple College, etc.. I look forward to speaking and hopefully meeting my new fellow classmates through this thread!

Thanks!!!

So you are in the Temple campus or the Taylor. I called and they said that the Taylor campus filled in quick but weird thing i was one of the first candidates to apply there but o well i think it is ok because i will just try move to Temple and then as soon as i finish my LVN just sign on to the bridge to RN

The lady I spoke to at the Temple College vn office said that if your zip code is closer to temple then you get temple campus and vice versa.

Did anyone go take the HESI A2 today? Did anyone get a chance to apply? I couldn't find where to print the application. Happy to have the HESI out of the way though. The topic at my husband's work last night was how competitive the temple adn program is. That's okay though, staying positive until the end!

I applied to ADN program today with a total of 9 points. Wish it was higher, but I've yet to complete Anatomy II. We will see what happens. Good luck to everyone applying!

Are you currently in APII?

No, unfortunately, so I won't get credit for it this time around. It's the only coreq I'm missing.

My application is in now.... I am out of district with gpa of 3.3, all prereqs and coreqs completed. I have a hesi a2 score of 94.67. So, 9 points I guess. I would have had 8 last year and made the alternate list. fingers crossed for this year!

Well good luck to both of you. And have you considered taking AP2 during the summer? I know 3 people who had to take AP2 during the 1st semester and it was not very fun for them

Yes, I was planning on it even if I don't get in. Yeah I can imagine that was a heavy workload especially for their first semester of nursing school. And thank you!

Ya it was especially because the 1st semester is 12 CH just with the nursing courses. And so far between 1st and 2nd semester, 1st semester is way harder.

Hmmm, good to know. I'm definitely gonna knock anatomy out this summer then for sure. Although, I feel my chances of getting in this go around are very... average. Ha. Thanks for the info.
