  1. Really? They didn't tell me that yesterday. So we are able to tak intro to a&p instead of a&p 1 for the adn program?? I'll have to ask them that tommorow.
  2. I want ADN more, I went ahead and registered for A&P 1 :-)
  3. Ok so I am registering for the fall and am going to be applying for the LVN and ADN program. I am registered for Eng comp 1, psych 1, ITSE for lvn, and I can either register for biol 2401 or 2404. Im stuck because I want to have both points for the 2404 and itse for LVN. But if I don't take 2401 now I won't have the a&p 2 done by when I apply to ADN, only the 2401 in progres. So for spring my I'll take psych 2, a&p 1 and whatever else. So basically I can either take 2401 or 2404 and either have both points forLVN Or only have 1 point for the itse. Or I can just take 2401 and have a&p 2 in progress for the ADN program in the spring. I just wouldn't have both points for the LVN app, but I do live in-district and have a high HESI score. Any suggestions?
  4. Hey girl! I haven't took the Kaplan test yet and am still taking my prereqs at temple college for my gpa. They require a 3.0 gpa and at least a 60 on the Kaplan. Was the Kaplan hard??
  5. Hey! I am applying for the spring 2016 nursing at Umhb! I am currently at temple college finish inning up prereqs, have you taken the Kaplan test yet?? If so was it hard??
  6. The school told me that you on you retake the HESI that you have to use that grade and cannot use the previous grade even if it was higher. From the directors words
  7. Ok I will definitely check again with that. I was originally registered for A&P 1 before. But she told me if I was going to apply for LVN that I needed that Intro to A&P. She said that I could only use that if I have both A&P 1 and 2 because there's something in the A&P 2 that includes some part of intro to A&P. So I am down to either keeping my schedule the way it is and applying to the LVN program and the RN just not having the A&P 2 applying for ADN. OR I could change it back to ap1 and have all of my pre's done when applying to the ADN and still go ahead and apply to the LVN but only with my HESI score, the ITSE class completed and in-resident status (luckily I live here).
  8. Hey everyone, I started this post and I plan to apply for the LVN and ADN Program this year '15-"16. I am currently registered for The Intro to A&P and ITSE computer class for lvn and also engl comp 1 and Psyc 1 for the fall. Both of the classes I am registeree for in the fall will be in a IP status when applying for LVN. In the spring I will apply to ADN and will be currently registered for Psyc 2, A&P 1, so all I will have left is A&P 2 (which I hope I will still have a good chance of getting in without have completed that class. I will strive to make all A's and a 90 or above on the HESI. If I get accepted into the LVN and not the ADN then I just plan on transferring to MCC's Tarleton University LVN-BSN program instead of bridging to ADN. If I get accepted into ADN then I will just do that and maybe continue my BSN through a jobplace. Any Recommendations anybody could give me or advice would be greatly appreciated?! Any LVN or ADN school experience would be awesome as well. And any opinions on my path I have chosen as well. I hope I get to meet anybody else looking to apply into the LVN and ADN programs this year!!
