Temple College Nursing 2016!!!

Published

Hey Everyone, I created this thread for anybody looking to apply for the 2016 LVN or ADN program at Temple College! Anyone and Everyone is welcome to come and discuss your application processes, Acceptance into the programs, your nursing history with Temple College, etc.. I look forward to speaking and hopefully meeting my new fellow classmates through this thread!

Thanks!!!

so i scored a 94.67 on the hesi a2 for the vn application period. should i retest for the adn application period in february? i had the EXACT same score the last time i took it.

I don't think you should have to retake it. Although it depends on your GPA I'm sure. It's a good score. It's also very strange that you made the same exact grade twice in a row. Good job though!

Has anyone heard anything about the ADN point system? Are they basing points on total GPA or just the classes that apply to degree? My GPA stinks (3.265).

How was the Hesi test? I am looking on taking the Hesi as well for LVN program. Any tips? And what are the materials that you used to study for the Hesi? Thank you

I plan on applying to the LVN program and looking forward to taking the Hesi exam on the 4th of January since they extended the deadline!!!

Just the classes that apply to the ADN program.

Hi guys

I was from Killeen & didn't listen to my mom years ago to do the ADN program... Here I am 4 years later, did the program in Houston TX & failed my a few points my first semester... I'm looking at the ADN program at Temple & being back with my family would be a huge help for me as I have two children. My second was a nursing school baby... I had him in October.

Do you guys know how many they accept?

what the class schedule may be like?

I hope to meet you guys those who are applying for the ADN & even the LVN program there for the 16-17 school year!

I bought a book from Amazon it was called HESI A2 secrets. I didn't use it much, but you will want to know how to convert. Math is a big deal once you're in the program. Don't be intimidated by it! It's not as difficult as it may seem :)

Is anyone else waiting to hear if they are accepted to the VN program? I can't be the only one getting anxious.

I also applied to the VN program at Taylor but the annoying thing coz my credits are from my Bsc which I did in Minnesota they said they can't accept it. So for now I'm waiting since I just did the Hesi and got a 97. But we should know by 2nd week of Feb if we are accepted. I am so very nervous

Has anyone noticed the new ADN point system on the TC website?

I saw that also. Not sure if that helps me or hurts me?! I mean, it looks like 13 max points, but how many points would be considered good? I wish I knew how many points to be.....competitive.
