OK, I am starting this thread for people who plan to apply for the bridging programs at both of these schools. The application period is coming up so I just wanted to see who else out there is going to apply:)

Thank you alot once again..Im sure I will have more questions as it get closer. That is a huge applicant pool!! :o But I'm just going to try and see how it goes. Will they post the applications online and do you just send the recommendations in with the application?Thank you!

Not a problem:) and they do not put applications online they make you take the hesi test before they even give you an application. You can just turn in your letters of recommendation with your application. You also have to realize that not everyone that applies is qualified. What I mean is not everyone have the necessary classes and stuff like that. Oh I also wanted to make sure that you attend an information session. The director of both programs are there and they explain in great detail the process of applying. They have them the first Tuesday of every month. And if you think of anything else just feel to ask I will be around

Okay so ofor example I'm taking my Hesi on January 4 can I pick up an application while I''m already there..Im asking because Im not from Temple.Ok but there are only 3 classes that are a must rite. And as for my computer class I have to get that approved because its not the exact class their asking for.But I greatly appreciate everything..some of the people on here are sometimes rude! But I will try and make one of those sessions like asap!

That sounds like a plan:) After you take your test you should definitely be able to pick up the application..Hopefully they should be able to approve your class...I understand that you do not stay in Temple which can make it hard..Good luck on your upcoming hesi and really make sure you know your conversions because from what I hear that is what is hurting alot of people because they had not put it memory.I try to treat people the way I wanna be treated that is my philosophy... Like I said if you need me I will be around and never feel like a question is too small because that is what I am here for. I do not know everything but what I do know I do not mind sharing. We are all in this together:D

Thanks alot I'm going to pick up a study guide and start studying and I will let you know how everything goes!:)) Thanks again!

I will keep my fingers crossed for ya...you got this!!!!

Has anyone transferred science classes from out of state to CTC? I finished my LVN there and now I want to apply for this upcoming RN bridge program. I took some classes from CCConline. Does anyone know if its hard to get into CTC's bridge program?

I have never taken any classes at ctc so I am unsure of how the classes transfer...I hear it is pretty easy get into as long you have all the classes completed with the minimum gpa and make the appropiate grades on the test

I'm applying to the LVN and the RN program for next Fall, was the LVN program hard to get in? I'm taking my Hesi next week!

I have a few last minute questions! I take my test on Monday but I'm getting nervous the closer it gets. I've been studying and previously took the NET test but idk still nervous! I know I show up and pay for the test the day of but whats the best time and do I need a calculator or am I allowed to use scratch paper??

Just curious how u did on ur exam??? Also I was wondering... If I had to wait until may to start my hep b series of shots... would I complete them in time if I am accepted??? On the website for Temple College it says before direct patient contact... about when do you start direct contact???

I have applied at both schools also and I am having a hard time being patient about finding out if I get accepted into atleast one of them :uhoh3:. I am scheduled to take the HESI test next Friday. I am also anxious about this because I took the HESI test last year and failed the math portion of the test :crying2:. Good luck to you and I hope you get accepted into the program that you prefer. :nurse:
