  1. Congratulations!
  2. Susan, WOW... you are an inspiration! I have been a LVN for almost 20 years now. I went to Temple College (then called Temple Junior College). I graduated December 19, 1990. I have mainly worked in LTC, and I love it. I am curently an ADON at a skilled facility. I can see that you succeeded your initial career goal and have definatley followed your calling. Thank you for your post. Whenever I feel too overwhelmed, I will read the post and I am sure it will give me strength. Thank you!
  3. Does anyone know what color the nursing scrubs / uniforms are for the ADN program? Has anyone attended their program. I was accepted into the program and would like to hear information from someone who has attended. I am so excited, I have been trying to get into a program for 2 years and finally got in!!! I'm on top of the world!
  4. Thats correct, no Chemistry or A&P. So when are you planning to move to Texas? Good Luck!
  5. CTC tests on Math, Grammar and Vocabulary.
  6. I wish you the best, I am sure you are very nervous.
  7. I am currently re-taking my A&P1 because it was 8 years old, one school allows up to 10 years and the other 5 years so I secided to take it again so I could apply for CTC. I hated to take it again but It had to be. Good Luck with getting it. I just wish that I would get a letter in the mail from them so I could start concentrating on other things.
  8. i am starting this thread to see who has applied for the transitional / bridging program at central texas college and/or temple college. i also am curious about acceptance letters. i know that tc has decided to mail their letters out on the 12 th. i thought that central texas college would have mailed theirs out by now. i am so anxious. i have spent the past 2 years working on my pre and co req's and....well, i am anxious, nervous and excited about the possibility to finally get in. i hope to get into temple because it is closer but i will also be happy to get into ctc.
  9. Yes, I think it would be best to study first. Good luck!
  10. I am trying to get into the bridging/transitional program. How are you doing as far as testing and application?
  11. Yes I did study hard because I failed the Math portion of the Hesi the first time, so I knew what to expect. To be honest with you, I did not study for it the first tme and forgot how to do fractions. So I wanted to be prepared for the test. I would have been so disappointed and humiliated if I did not pass it the second time around. Well, it is finally over! I am so happy that that is one obsticle off my plate and I feel so much relief.
  12. So I took the Hesi test yesterday and I passed it. Now all that I need to do is be patient and wait to see if I get accepted into CTC or TC. Wish me luck.
  13. I have applied at both schools also and I am having a hard time being patient about finding out if I get accepted into atleast one of them . I am scheduled to take the HESI test next Friday. I am also anxious about this because I took the HESI test last year and failed the math portion of the test . Good luck to you and I hope you get accepted into the program that you prefer.
