  1. Some of the for profit schools not sure which ones
  2. Thanks Klone Wilkes and Walden:)
  3. Thanks Kline Wilkes and Walden:)
  4. They are both nurse practitioner programs
  5. Thanks for the response msufan, that is absolutely crazy. I do believe that non profit is better in the scheme of things.
  6. Thanks again and good luck to you I know you will soon:yes: If you ever need some insight you can always PM me about getting into programs or anything.
  7. Thanks gellie:) I will consider all these things in my decision. The only thing is that I can not find any feedback on the Wilkes program. I have searched and searched to no avail. I have seen responses to mental health but not adult-gero. I guess I will consider all the factors and maybe someone that has gone there will come forward at some point while I am deciding. Again thanks for the quick response, support and guidance.
  8. I need some advice...I was accepted to Wilkes Adult-Gero Primary Care NP program and Walden's FNP.Which would you choose? Wilkes is non-profit where as Walden is for profit. This is a very hard decision and any advice would be appreciated.
  9. Hey everyone, I need a liitle help grouping my remaining general education classes for the RN to BSN program. I am currently in US Govt and will take Texas Govt the next 8 week session. I will still have Eng. Lit, Algebra, Statistics, History I, History II, Sociology, and a Lit. class as general education classes. I thought of doubling up on some but not sure which ones would be ok to do that with. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)
  10. In this program, you may use loans. You must first apply for aid and get awarded, you must accept the awards ,sign promissary note and do entrance conseling. The reason you will be able to utilize this is because the funds will be sitting in pending status or you will be awarded prior to the start date.
  11. Thanks everyone for responding and helping me with this dilema. Each one of you had valid points and actually my decision will be a combination of the responses. I will take my technical writing and statitics this semester then I will take the nursing courses and the rest of my prereqs together going forward. Kcdunlap, my last name is not Kimball but I did attend a school once by that name. Thanks again everyone you rock!!!!!
  12. I will be starting the AP RN to BSN program in August and I have around 10 preqs that I still need to take. Should I follow the course map and still have around 8 prereqs when I finish the program or should I complete those classes first and then do the nursing classes?Any information would be greatly appreciated.
  13. I am looking forward to starting a rn to bsn program soon but I am torn between two schools. I applied to both schools but I am now waiting for my admission status. I have read several threads about UTA but I have not been able to read about Texas A&M Texarkana on this site. I was wanting to hear from some people currently doing these programs or people who may have heard about these programs for information. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:)
