Temple College ADN/LVN 2014

I noticed that there has not been a 2014 topic started yet for the Temple College nursing programs. I am getting nervous and want to know if there is anyone out there applying for the same year I am. I will be applying for the ADN and LVN program. So far I have all my pre and co-requisites completed with a 3.76 GPA. I will be taking my hesi test this October, and I also live IN-district. I am nervous and losing sleep over whether or not my scores will be good enough!

I got my acceptance letter today, too. I am not sure about the processes next. Any one know about where to get the basic cardiac life support class? The one suggested on the letter or the Scott & White? What about the physical examination? I have never seen a doctor in US yet since I came here only one year ago. Any suggestion, ladies?

Congratulations to all of you who go accepted for the ADN 2014. I am planning to apply for the ADN 2015 and I was wondering if you guys could share some of your stats I am kind of nervous my gpa will not be good enough. Does temple college have a waiting list? or do they just make you re-apply next year if you don't get in the first time?

Well, I have a GPA of 3.897 (darn B in anatomy) with a 94 on the HESI and 10 pre and co-recs completed as I was hoping to apply for the bridge program. I'm out of district though.

They don't have a waiting list but I think they have an alternate list in case those accepted can't attend for some reason. The rest are send a denial email.

Summer,

I got in! I am just overwhelmed by all the paper work necessary to complete the process.

Where is a good place to get immunizations and the physical? I have insurance but I don't think they would cover a physical. Is there a clinic that does physicals for a reasonable out of pocket price? Also, I'm sure I've had these immunizations but I haven't needed proof of them for so long that I don't know if I can find them. Where do you recommend for CPR training?
