Temple College ADN/LVN 2014

I noticed that there has not been a 2014 topic started yet for the Temple College nursing programs. I am getting nervous and want to know if there is anyone out there applying for the same year I am. I will be applying for the ADN and LVN program. So far I have all my pre and co-requisites completed with a 3.76 GPA. I will be taking my hesi test this October, and I also live IN-district. I am nervous and losing sleep over whether or not my scores will be good enough!

Wow, sorry about not getting in this year. That is crazy they took those 2 courses out of the degree plan

That really stinks mygr8life! Im sorry :(

I had heard they were taking English and Speech out. When I was in Micro, my teacher said they were thinking of taking IT out of the plan, but it was in the air between that and the English courses. Hands down the English courses shoulda got the boot! Everyone needs Micro! Its so educational.

Im glad you have such a positive attitude about this! Im not sure if you read this whole post ordeal, but I almost gave up trying to bridge. I had a NOT SO LOVELY time with Excelsior, and almost didnt even try to apply to the LVN to RN bridge program this year. Last year, it seemed SOO far away and impossible. But, Im glad I did.

So hang in there! You will get your chance! :)

Aww I'm sorry to hear that! I'm am glad English is out though. But no worries you will have all of us to help you next year once you apply to the lvn program

I'm sorry to hear that. It does sound like you have a great chance of getting in at a later time. I haven't heard ANYTHING yet. You have a great attitude....so keep it up! AND yes.....ENJOY those kiddos. Who knows? Maybe this is a blessing in disguise?

Just curious.........have any of you applied for/received a scholarship? I have never applied for one so would appreciate any info. or feedback. Or do you know anyone who has? Are there many available for Temple College nursing students?

Has anyone else heard anything?... I've checked my email and nothing. At the time I applied I didn't have my Temple student ID or email to list, so hopefully if denied they would be able to look it up. =/

Temple changed our mail addresses and sign in place? I can't sign in with the new set up! Anyone have pointers?

If you go to Temple college home page and click on TC email it will give you instructions to set up new email and the old email is labeled TC Web Mail. Click on that and it should let you go to the old email page.

So are the alternates getting mailed because from the message on Nursing line it seems that acceptance and alternates were mailed. I saw previous post and someone said alternates were getting emailed.

Yes, I got the same thing...The recording states that alternate & acceptance letters were mailed. Good luck to everyone!!! A day or so more and we will find out!!! Happy waiting everyone!!!
