Temple College ADN/LVN 2014

I noticed that there has not been a 2014 topic started yet for the Temple College nursing programs. I am getting nervous and want to know if there is anyone out there applying for the same year I am. I will be applying for the ADN and LVN program. So far I have all my pre and co-requisites completed with a 3.76 GPA. I will be taking my hesi test this October, and I also live IN-district. I am nervous and losing sleep over whether or not my scores will be good enough!

Hey Summer! Any news? You seem to be the one to ask!:) I hope if anyone gets an email or letter they will post it here! Am getting anxious and excited. I think I have a good chance of getting in but I probably will not be considered "in-district" because I am in Belton. Do you know what the final number was for ADN applications? Hope you are doing great and enjoying your kiddos. I have three teenage boys......enjoy those younger years!! Anyway, please post if you hear any "NEWS"......THANKS!

Hey everyone out there! Just curious.....does anyone know anything about the SONOGRAPHY program? I am trying to get into the ADN program but was also kind of interested in the sonography program. Do any of you know someone who got into that program? Or finished that program? I read the info. on the Temple website but was wondering if anyone knows a little more about it. Thanks for any info. you can provide!

I called **** about 2 weeks ago. She told me the denial emails should go out 2 weeks before LVN school starts.. so that would be Monday. However, Ive never known them to do letters on a Monday, so Im guessing it will probably be Friday of this week.

So be sure to check your TC emails all week! Alternates are emailed on Thursdays, Denials are emailed Fridays, and Acceptance LETTERS go in the mail either Thur/Fri. I got my acceptance letter on a Saturday, so Im guessing its mailed Friday.

(this has just been the trend as of lately, they may change it up just to prove me wrong. lol)

I have no idea what the final number is. I can call tomorrow and ask Nancy though! Maybe she can verify the letter situation a bit further :)

Oh, and I am LOVING the time with my 2 kids!! They make me so happy! Its starting to make me sad thinking about school starting. I remember when I went to LVN school, my daughter was 2 at the time, and I felt super neglectful. :( Now my son is almost 2 and my daughter will be 9 shortly after school starts. I know that he will have her to play with, but Im sad thinking about giving up my life for the next year. ...itll all be worth it in the end, thats what I keep telling myself!

I only knew one person who went thru the sonography program. She got denied the first year, wait listed the second, and accepted the 3rd. Shes so happy she did it though. She lovessss her job! She said its super competitive to get in, but possible!

I dont really know much more about it than that. =\

This is an awful wait! Anyone get bad news email today about the 2014 ADN? I've done all the waiting patiently I can muster. Fingers crossed for those waiting with me!

Soooo... next week!!! its coming up fast! Start checking your emails Wednesday, if you havent gotten an email by Friday, check your mailboxes!!!!

They are emailing denials and alternates, and mailing the acceptance letters like they did with me. The acceptance letters will have forms inside.

OMG Im so excited for you guys! OOO and just think, if u do get accepted, u will start your 2nd year when I graduate, so Ill have all the 2nd yr books!!!

Yep. Maddy called and they gave her the "actual" date. When i called, she would only tell me "about 2 weeks prior to june 2nd"

and the actual date is the 28! So close but soooo far.

Ill be buggin yall senseless starting the 28th lol!!

Cant wait to find out!!
