I noticed that there has not been a 2014 topic started yet for the Temple College nursing programs. I am getting nervous and want to know if there is anyone out there applying for the same year I am. I will be applying for the ADN and LVN program. So far I have all my pre and co-requisites completed with a 3.76 GPA. I will be taking my hesi test this October, and I also live IN-district. I am nervous and losing sleep over whether or not my scores will be good enough!
I believe exit 298 for TC is closed, so its best to get off at the Midway Drive exit (which I believe is exit 297.. but it says Midway drive) Then you can right onto Midway Drive at the light... and go straight the rest of the way. It puts you on the loop in front of Big Lots, which takes you straight to TC. :)
I kinda wish orientation was on Monday.. that would make more sense? BTW, I sent you a PM with my number!! But, dont get me lying on how to check PM messages on here! hahahaha :)
Awww dang Cocoa!!!! We had sooo much fun! It was small, but BOTH of my kids LOVED petting the stingrays and starfish! That was a pretty nifty lil place!!! Next time we head that way, Ill message you on FB ahead of time! :)
Sorry it took a while to reply, we had a big Med Surg exam yesterday.
My scrubs are Landau (they require the green Landau scrubs only) in top women's Small and bottom women's Medium. The white jacket is a size Small. I think they run big, because I certainly can't wear size small tops in anything else! LOL!
I don't know what the average HESI score was when I was accepted back in 2012. They don't release those numbers at all. My HESI was a 93 though. My GPA was a 3.6 and I live in Round Rock so I didn't get the extra point.
I was NOT accepted straight away. I was actually on the alternate list...I think I was the 6th down! Acceptance letters went out in May and I finally got the invitation to acceptance in mid-July!!! Do NOT give up hope!!
The exams are challenging....all the answers are correct, you have to choose the best out of the correct. :) Keep up with the reading, study, and put forth an excellent effort in your paperwork and you'll do fine. Just remember, you can't miss more than a few on each exam or you lose your A. Their grading scale is A 93-100, B 85-92, and C 75-84. Below 75 is fail. Needless to say, it's VERY difficult to keep your perfect 4.0, but it IS doable.
I don't know but they are playing with my future!!! Good thing I made copies of my shot records and physical form they gave us, I'm going to call the bon today and ask for a copy even if she does find it, I work in the medical field and should of known to document and have proof always!!

I Better set a reminder on my phone not to come the wrong day. I have not been to the aquarium here in Austin and I live here lol shame on me right. I wish there was a way we can exchange phone numbers.
