Temple College ADN/LVN 2014

I noticed that there has not been a 2014 topic started yet for the Temple College nursing programs. I am getting nervous and want to know if there is anyone out there applying for the same year I am. I will be applying for the ADN and LVN program. So far I have all my pre and co-requisites completed with a 3.76 GPA. I will be taking my hesi test this October, and I also live IN-district. I am nervous and losing sleep over whether or not my scores will be good enough!

"Letters should go out around May 28. Our plan is to mail accept letters in the regular mail, regrets/alternate/low gpa letters will go out in that same time frame but to the TC email accounts. " I can't say staff names on here, but that is what she told me.

I got the dreaded email today :( They say my GPA was below 2.8. Not sure how they figure that but okay. All my pre req's and co req's were a's and b's except 1 c...I really had high hopes after scoring 95 on hesi a2. Super bummed but hopefully I can use my hesi a2 score and apply to lvn program in the fall. GOOD LUCK to everybody else!!!

That sucks. Maybe there was a calculation mistake. Give them a all tomorrow and ask about it maybe?

If your gpa doesnt add up, you should call to see why, thats not being a sore loser. Was your email sent out today or earlier but you checked today? Even more reason to be concerned if school was closed due to holiday. Its a big thing, nursing school, to go through the hard work and the wait and not be informed better as to why you werent picked. It could be the very call that will make you successful in future, because you knew EXACTLY what to do better on.

Im curious as to how they email people too! What could it possibly say?! Gosh, I feel like Im waiting on MY letter. LOL! This is terrible yall. We've grown so close, its like we take on the wait for everyone!

Bronze 2--I think that GPA is outstanding to get into the ADN program.The mass score will b from your GPA and the Hesi for ADN program. I graduated Temple College with the LVN program but looking at getting in the RN like soon!! Good luck in the future !!

So the email was sent from nancy miller account and signed by karen robinson. They said since the english and speech were taken out of the degree plan, they were not used to calculate gpa. so, the c in psych really hurt me. my B's were not enough to bring it up. Really disappointing since my overall gpa is 3.475. I'm okay with it though. My youngest 2 are only 1 and 2 and still need me, so I can wait. I am looking forward to applying to lvn in fall. GOOD LUCK TO THOSE STILL WAITING!!!
