Temple College ADN/LVN 2014

I noticed that there has not been a 2014 topic started yet for the Temple College nursing programs. I am getting nervous and want to know if there is anyone out there applying for the same year I am. I will be applying for the ADN and LVN program. So far I have all my pre and co-requisites completed with a 3.76 GPA. I will be taking my hesi test this October, and I also live IN-district. I am nervous and losing sleep over whether or not my scores will be good enough!

I wonder if I would need to contact the RN office about that...I guess I will wait and see!

Sorry Maddy, I've been super busy with work and school. I swear this lady is gonna be the death of me. The thing I hate is that we don't even need this stupid class anymore. Bleh

Anyway, I talked to my friend Shannon that is bridging straight thru right now, she said maybe the Taylor lady meant they dont bridge in Taylor, u have to come to Temple. She said to call Nancy, the ADN secretary, and she will tell u the truth.

OMMMMMMGG. Im getting nervous.

Im hoping the mail comes Saturday. If so, we have 12 days. If we have to wait till Monday, we have 2 weeks from today!!!!!!!

Yay! I am so excited for yall! I did email Nancy and she said that a current LVN in the program can apply for the ADN without taking the PN NCLEX!!! Grades have to be PERFECT though and all pre-reqs have to be done. I have a goal to reach and it is to be one of the students they immediately bridge over!....unless I get accepted to the ADN program right now, which at this point I have no idea.

Im glad you finally got the truth! :) good look girly. Did they tell you when they would mail the ADN letters when u turned in your app?

A friend of mine said May 10, but Im not sure if she knows what she is talking about.

Oh wow that's great that's good finding that out. And we have s orientation in April? Bc I haven't heard anything else from them besides that I didn't need to do my background again

Yes, we have orientation on the 9th of April at 3pm. When I went in to talk to Mrs. Gore, she gave me all this info. We order our scrubs and stuff on that day. I am not sure if the emails are getting sent out because I she said she has been emailing.

Boo, I wont have an orientation. Temple LVN stopped doing it for the variety times of turning in your background check or orientating students that actually dont make it into the program due to the background check. I was hoping to meet some people before actually starting school. Summer, youre a hoot lol. When yall get the letters for the bridge though, we need to plan a play date with kids or lunch date with just the girls. At least I would know people upstairs. :( feeling lonely haha

Have yall already started your background check (angela?). I have my fingerprinting scheduled for Tuesday....worried that I am starting late. Hopefully they will be quick, we still have a few months before its due.

I did mine monday. Havent seen a card yet so i dont know how long that process takes. Once i get the blue card though, thats when ill get the rest of my stuff to register for classes and the form to do physical. I have CPR scheduled on the 8th. So youre right on track :)
