...We also receive calls from 19 year-olds who've alread had 3 children & want to have their tubes tied. The docs won't do it until they're at least 21...
...and then there are the gals who call & ask if a tubal reversal would be covered by the form of medicaid that my state uses!:roll :roll :roll

We get these calls...we call them "menstruation calls." They are usually asking about their cycle, ovulation, and pregnancy.
The callers are clueless. They have no idea of how their bodies work! They're trying to determine their (past) ovulation date to figure out which guy fathered their child!
Randy gals with questionable standards, at best.
Once I had a caller who was asking me about birth control methods. I mentioned several kinds...and then discussed the only 100% method, abstinence. She thanked me for the call. She called back a few minutes later, asking for information about the pill called "abstinence".
I'm serious!
I've been suggesting that they go to the library & check out some information on the topic, but I imagine that this falls on deaf ears.
In our office, we're starting to think that the folks who ask these questions shouldn't become parents.
Thanks for letting me blow off some steam.
