I'm taking my teas this sunday and I just took the practice test...didn't do as expected. Did your scores reflect your actual test score?

I did 12 points higher on the 2nd practice than the 1st and another 10 on the actual test. I'm so glad I took the practice tests to give me confidence. The TEAS style is so different than any other standardized tests Ive ever taken...

Which practice books would you recommend?
Thanks!
I didnt use the TEAs book, took the 2 online practices tests I bought online offered by ATI, the practice tests are just like the "real"tests. Between the 2 practice tests I went online to math resources, drexel university, and chemistry resources to review weak areas.
so you scored a total of 22 pts higher on the actual test?
Yeah, I but I did it over 3 weeks with study time between the 2 practice tests and took the actual teas test the day after the second test. Even 1 more practice test the day before might help.
Best of luck
Actually I will be taking my 2nd practice test today and the real thing tomorrow...so I hope it really does help.
Did you feel that the real test was easier than the practice/study guide....or vice versa?

My real score was 2 points higher than my practice test score.
Haneen,
I had been out of school for a couple of semesters and found the tests helped me focus on what I needed to focus on. Several of the practice problems were on the actual test! I couldnt afford both the book and the practice tests so decided to chance the tests. There are other nurse TEA'S type study guides...Best of luck to you.

83% first time I took practice test. 95% second time I took practice test, about 2 months later. Think higher score second time was just remembering the things I tripped on the first time. Got a 90.0% on actual test.
Are you happy enough with a 90% or are you planning to take it again? Just wondering because I also scored a 90 and while I think that's about as well as I'll do, I know I made a few mistakes in the English and math section that I shouldn't have. But, I ended up doing better in science than I had expected, so I'm thinking I'll just take it.
