did the TEAS practice test reflect your actual score?

I'm taking my teas this sunday and I just took the practice test...didn't do as expected. Did your scores reflect your actual test score?

My school bases admission almost solely on the TEAS score and geographical location of your residence (or so my advisor has told me). I figure being in the 98th percentile nationally, with the school accepting 40 students, statistically there would have to be 2000 students apply before my score was not one of the top 40. I know that that number is just statistically, but the odds are in my favor. I could probably do better, given that I studied my butt off in science and scored a 93.3 in it, expected to get at least a 97% or so in math but scoring an 89% (didn't refresh what I had studied 2 months before and slipped on the old "if you have 100 and raise it to 120, is it a 120% increase or a 20% increase") and an 83 in english (I put off english until the last two days before my test, spending way less time on it than I should have). So I'm pretty sure my score has room to rise, but I'm hesistant to take it again because my school takes the last attempt and not the highest score of two allowed attempts. I'd kick myself if I took it again and got

Hello Everyone,

I urgently need your advice. I am planning to take the TEA test in less than a month and I have been just going all over the TEA book studying. I feel weak on my english. Maybe math as well. Time! I am totally wasting time and feel so worried

See the manual book is not prepared like the real test. The manual book has questions all over the place and there is no way for me to time it like the real test. For example, the actual science test might have 50 questions but the manual has 40 question for anatomy, 40 questions for biol...and such. It is not like the real test. I dont see any way to practice my timing.

For that reason, Yesterday i just bought the online practice test. But i realized I can only take it twice once it is started. Then how can i go back and re-do the questions for more practice? This is a total waste of my money! why didnt they allow us to use it again and again at least? Please give me advices on how i can practice my timing for math. I am very slow when doing test questions. ALso my english is another weakness, I always get wrong doing the English grammar part.

:sniff:

Thanks, David:(
