by any chance, did the ati online helped you? i have heard some people say it is useless. do you think it was beneficial? what about time wise, did you get breaks? where you short of time on math section? for the ati manual, i already did the practice tests and i am getting 65% which is not good. do you advice i do them again and again ? additional: i also went to this website ...chem4kids.com, what shall i concentrate since it is a big website like google.

Off course it is best to become BSN first. Get your bachelors in nursing. You can at least save little money since you get paid as nurse but not as a researcher if you major in biology (they make very small wage as a researcher plus it is very boring for me. It is hard to get funds for your research). Then later on, after you get your Bachelor in nursing ...if you want to continue with your PA ...then you can apply further. You would gain great experience as well. See, you are having this confusion because you may have never volunteered or experienced anything. I say you start volunteering. I used to like dentistry and then changed to Physician assistant...wasted a lot of time going around the track. Finally, i volunteered and found what i want to become...NURSE! The best advice I can give you is just to start the classes ASAP. Take care of all your home shores and start with your school. Noting basic there. You just need to go class and study hard. It is all easy. Just study! Go to barnes and noble and they have amazing books. In my place, we take the TEA test instead of the ACT. but yeah,

I agree with this post. It has noting to do with gender. Most of the time, men who peruse nursing as a major does it for a big reason. There is all basis and accusations among them that many men don't really like to become nurses. I foremost chose this major since i really want to be in touch with the patient and I have better grades than all nurses, hopefully. I have 4.0 and no less than 3.7. Most women in that field, they are not really attracted to that major. They just do it for money and its also so called "women job with better pay compared to other jobs."

I did take both anatomy and Mircobiology in the past. I do not feel like reviewing them. At the moment, I am concentrating on the Verbal. A lot to study! Subject, vocab, misspelled words ..etc. I am solid on my math skills, except worried on my timing. I am doing practice test at the moment and I am kind of ****** doing little errors. I have 65 % on verbal. It seems like you have problem with the science part. I am not to worried about the science but trying to do great on the other 3. Any advice you have is still appreciated. Do you have ATI online practice test? Isn't that helpful?

I did my little research. I found it somewhere. Let me know if you'd like me to explain. BTW, did you take the test? Please share, what sources where eminent for your study guide. So far, I have the ATI guide (manual + online) and Mcgraw. I am only given one shot. I need to bump it up or I won't make it to the nursing program. Share anything you have in mind. I am mainly worried for the English reading, math, and science.

thanks for great information. here more questions. 1/ do you advice i take the online ati test before i start studying? as you know, i can only take the test twice and shall i take it one time and study again and take the second time? or study now and take test one and test two just before the test day? 2/ you said you studied 4 hours a day. how did you study? please explain? did you do the study part first on the ati manual and do the practice second? did you take the online test first and then studied where you lacked? 3/ what was something hard for you on the test day? i am worried of being short on time on math mainly... did you had enough time for all? did you get breaks in between of your tests? or straight 3 hrs? how then shall i practice on taking straight 3 hrs test? shall i time myself .. since it will be tiring if i don't practice the timing now
