I just got called for an interview at TCU in Feb. How did y'alls interview go?

Do any of you guys have any other information on more specific interview questions? My applications are almost complete. Do you think that last minute applications, just before the deadlines have any disadvantages? Any more interview info would be helpful at my anxieties! :eek:

Do a search in this forum on "interview" We've all been there or will be there. Just be yourself. They expect you to be nervous, but not so much you throw up in your mouth a little bit.

i worked in a neuro/trauma unit and they asked a coupla people to trace the path of csf through body Please tell me that was a 'misspoke typo'! CSF travels through the CNS, not the body!
Texas Wesleyan starts interviews in November for those who apply earlier than deadline. Interviews continue through early April. After the final interview, class selection is determined by the admission committee. If one does EXCEEDINGLY well, they MAY be offered a position sooner rather than later. The other 'early' (earlier than April when final selections are made) selection is if an applicant has been accepted to another program and need to make a decision of one school over the other. TCU follows a similar admissions policy.
Actually, CSF travels from the ventricles in the brain (where its produced), out of two openings ( luschka, megendie) into the arachnoid space, multiple sinuses and cisterns and eventually in the venous system. HEY JEN...I did learn something in the neuro lectures. Jenniek is right though. Do a search and you'll find out alot. Plus, the adminstration from both schools read this site, so noone should put interview questions on here. It could be a bad day after that.

I found out today, I have an interview in February at TCU as well. For those that have interviewed to multiple schools, how did you feel after your first interview? Recently had my first interview and I'm already wishing I had done a few things differently, oh well!! I answered the questions correctly, but still felt I could have done much better? Anyone else feel like this?

Yes. I interviewed at two different clinical sites for TWU (these clinical sites do the interviews rather than at Fort Worth). It is a learning experience, like nothing I've done before. You are human, just do your best!

Most definitely, where else did you interview?

Recently interviewed at MUSC. Interview questions weren't hard, but wouldn't you know it, it sure is harder with two sets of eyes completely on you. I know my ICU stuff and really could have excelled on some of the drug questions, but opened my mouth and nothing concise came out. So frustrating, but I"m taking this as a learning experience. Pretty sure even my hand shake to the director sucked............aaaahhhhh!!!!!

Does anyone know how many people TCU/TWU interview and accept?

TCU accepts around 60 and interviews a couple hundred. TWU you can double the acceptance number and I imagine they interview a couple hundred as well.
