TCC Spring 2016 Applicants

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I hope it's not too early to start a thread for those who are planning to apply to TCC this summer for Spring 2016. I will be applying with one A and two B's. I'm getting ready for my HESI test and I hope to get a good score. For those who have applied before, has anyone ever been accepted with one A.? I'm hopeful and also nervous. So let's get the ball rolling, and help encourage each other.

No I did not get one. I just wanted to make sure that I was the only one LOL! Hopefully we will get something soon :) Does anyone know typically what the schedules may look like in Spring?? I chose the hybrid option, I do really well in online classes, I took all of my sciences online at UTA, except A&P1, so I think I will do fine. Here is to hoping anyway....

I got a confirmation email

Ok yea me too!! Hip hip hooray

Me three ; ) anyone have a clue when the orientation is or when we get paperwork on physicals and etc??

Idk.. Who knows! Lol I already had a physical since el centro needed one on their application, might just do another one!

I received my confirmation today! :) I'm assuming we'll hear more about orientation and paperwork after the 28th, since that's the cut off for returning the acceptance...

Yes that's exactly what I was thinking @wildearth

I am so excited! I just read that the scrubs are teal. What's the facebook group again? I also need to start looking for an apartment in the area!

Scrubs are teal and can be any brand, as far as I know. They just need the patches on them, that you can buy at the bookstore closer to the start of the semester I think. Personally I love Grey's Anatomy brand. They're super soft and hold their color so much better than other brands. They're a little pricey, but well worth the investment, especially since we only have clinical one day a week (I'm pretty sure?) and you can get away with one pair for now.

Don't you have to wear the scrubs to class too? I thought you had to always wear them.

Cparsons- I think you're right. Almost every medical program requires that.

Also congrats on your acceptance!

So weird... I have been wearing black scrubs for that last 6 years.. Teal is so bright! Can't wait :)
